harajuku is more of a district.but i sort of agree with what you have to say having lived in japan a major portion of my life, and still having residence there..its odd seeing this wave of interest in japanese street fashion. but ill have to say, that seeing westerners trying to imitate japanese street style is sort of funny. it doesnt quite work.
even seeing some people trying japanese ganguro style is absolutely horrrendous. so i say, its fine to have an interest in japanese street style but its very difficult to pull off if you're not japanese.

I think japanese are more fashionable then european overall on the street, no?

I woun't say more fashionable but I think they experience more than we do .
If you come to London/Antwerp/Paris/Barcelona etc... you will too see a lot of fashionable people.I personally think you can't compare these 2 things.:flower:

I agree with juice major, I think they are more experimental. Also, they seem to wear and/or own a lot more high end clothes (especially teenagers since for the most part, parents give them all the money they want for whatever they want,) because as a group Japanese people love anything trendy and new. In Japan, If a new cell phone comes out the week after you've just bought a new one it doesn't matter how good the one you have is, you toss it and get the new one the second you can.

^ I agree, alot of Japanese look to other countries for inspiration... its interesting to see the influence Europe has on Japan.

ya i know it doesnt have a mens line either >.> but i figured if people new about it they could save thats how i got my gucci :)

Thanks for the link. I'm saving up for that clothing.

Anyone heard of baby the stars shine bright? Is there an English version of the site. I absolutely love the clothing. A little expensive for such a small line, but not horrible.
