It's funny how they don't make friends with "white" normal looking ppl, but ganguros only. Anyway i think ganguro guys are even worse than the gals.. They often use pink make-up like the girls..
I really hope this trend goes away very soon..

oh sorry i got the first couple of pics from shift.jp.org and the last few from shibuden.meguro.tokyo.jp. two great sources of japanese street fashion!

ganguros is totaly funny. I was in Japan last year. REALLY insane. The guys and girls looked so similar. It's cool if its a drag thing, but, Well there doesnt seem to be any direct western fashion that is similar. Maybe 80's metal???
I have many questions.

There was a type of ganguro that looked less androgynous. That reminded me of early hair metal.

I wanted to find where they hung out and see how they partied. But didnt have enough time. Or something like that.
very care free and soft. Flashy,
Maybe space-indians on soft love drugs.
I wonder what music they listen to also.

I love japanese street style.
U personally wear more the "mature" style, not too crazy like in the pics above.
I can't wait to go to Tokyo in a few weeks to take lotz of pics!!
