AnaisF...thanks for posting all the great pics!

I do love Japanese style. They layer and wear things in a way that most people wouldn't even think of.
But at the same time, I have to be careful not to be influenced too much. I get enough stick as it is for looking too 'Jap' especially since I'm Chinese.
Also, even my Japanese friends say that the ppl you see in Fruits magazines all try WAY too hard. It's a tricky thing....on some Japanese ppl, their style looks natural, on others, it can look really contrived.

I adore it when they go low key layering...or have a girly dress with some biker boots. The far out stuff is a big no way...and i would never copy these pics, just take inpiration. But i do love looking at new pictures, and finding lush outfits...

AnaisF, thanks for posting such great pics, I've re-found faith in Japanese street style....

Please be careful next time NOT to post street style pics that are obviously from fashion shoots... We want REAL street style.

Since huge pictures take a lot of time to load, please use the attachment feature next time. :flower:

I liked your last post bubbles.
I'm always interested in how differnt asian people deal with their similarities, and differences. "looking too japanese" or this or that. It is interesting and fun. And also something likely most peolpe wouldnt even notice, since 'asian' to most people is just one look. But yes I love all the differences. And also japan copies China alot too so, it is hard to tell who is doing what really.
And about the too contrived part... It is funny, and hard to deciede. Sometimes the outfit is so complicated but looks amazing. And like???? how did they make that work. But yes sometimes it looks too complicated. To me if something looks too overworked it ruins it for me. But that said, I think most of the 'fruits' to me, are not overworked. I like them....
so, I guess it all depends on the magic.
And you by the way, do not dress too Japanese, at least as far as what I've seen. You actualy seem to dress chinese. so dont worry. And I love all youre outfits. Very original.:flower:

love all the pics.

To most asians, caucasian is just 'one look' as well. Asking a mainlander the difference between a spanish and australian person is like asking someone the difference btw someone from taiwan and hong kong.

WOW! Thanks Anais!!!! :flower: The street pics look like they were taken from a fashion editorial rather than the streets.... sooooo inspiring!!!!

I thought that those BEFORE post 1447, WERE street pics.....
They are...in 1448 i think they're from an editorial. Fruits is a magazine which shoots street style around Japan.
