Thanks goosemaster :winkiss:

style-arena.jp does a fantastic job of showing lots of "cool dude" style. My personal favorites are the guy with the glasses from Daikanyama and the guy with the sunglasses from Omotesando.

hey everyone!
our school is having a cultural fashion show and at one point we have to have girls dressed as "harajuku." any clothing ideas? what kind of clothes? colors? certain items? thanks so much!

Hi Maganda:

If you search for Harajuku in this thread, you do come up with lots of examples. :flower: Think bright colors, lolita, hello kitty, etc....of course there is also a gothic movement, but I think most people think bright colors when they think of Harajuku.

My favourite style of theirs is the baggy cut off jeans over dark tights...it looks really good!

Hello All,

I'm a new designer located in Portland, Maine. My work, at this time, is focused primarily on t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and a few embellished sneakers. I'm going to be exhibiting for the first time at the Pool Show in Las Vegas next month. I'm particularly interested in the Japanese market. Some of my designs might work well there. Have any of you been to the Pool Show? Do you think there will be many Japanese retailers attending the show?

Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I received an old issue of With (www.joseishi.net/with) and Domani (http://domani.shogakukan.co.jp/) + soon i get other mags too..
Domani is rather for women over 30 (~elegant and modest look) but in With (mostly for women in early 20s) there are cute outfits, make-up tips and hairstyle shoots that you might like. ^_^
If you are interested in any of these above just drop a message and i scan it for you. ^^ However it's not exactly street style but for the real Jp fashion lovers here it must be candy.. ;)

I LOVE their style!!! They're so creative and and so imaginative! The way they dress is unique! It's hard to copy them because they have specially designed items we can't find in every shop....

So many interesting styles in this thread.. I am personally tired of the grunge/layering look... ...or the "all the colors of the rainbow" outfits.... But the rest is interesting...

The photoshoots are particularly interesting: why do they have to make really "weird" poses?!

Perhaps it is not considered "weird" to them.
