Jellies

You know, I hate the idea of "jellies" myself but those Marc ones keep growing on me since I first saw them. I don't think they look cheap or tacky like many other ones do.

If anyone has that exact pair of Marc jellies I would love to hear if they are stinky and/or uncomfortable.

Mm, I don't like this trend. Though the Marc Jacobs are kinda cute.

damn I used to wear these when I was little along with my other siblings. From when I was about 2-6 years old. I saw someone yesterday wearing bright pink flat jellies incrusted with diamanties, it just doesn't look good and your feet get so sweaty in them.

I'm mostly a lurker, but thought I'd post on this :D

Anyways, I agree that the Marc ones are super cute, but I also agree that those things hurt your feet and make them super sweaty. I just can't see hard plastic being all that comfy on bare feet

It's kind of funny that these are coming back, again, since I used to wear them in elementary school (almost 15 years ago). They were the coolest things then and I used to BEG my mom to get them for me. I'd stand in the shoe aisle at Kmart and look through the bins of them.

no No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No These Should Never Have Been Invented In The First Place. Horrid Is An Understatement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thort the whole jelly revival had been going for the last two summers... i have jelly flip flop styley shoes .. they hurt like mad tho :(
Memories of a kid .. summer dresses, jelly healed sandel things, and a cadrigan ... what every girl in england wore to school in the summer

I have the Marc Jacobs in clear.
So far, they're really, REALLY comfortable, and I haven't had a stinky problem yet.

But the weather isn't as warm as it will be.

i really like the jelly shoes. i don't like the ones that are sparkley or hot pink or childish in any other way.
i bought some of the little jelly flip flops with the kitten heels a couple of years back to wear by the pool. i thought they were cute, comfortable, and practical. i believe that marc jacobs made those also.
i think those little jelly ballet flats are adorable and i would wear them in the rain without any worries.

Me likes jellies aswell, especially when they do not look really nostalgic and old-school. Especially adoring the Melissa jelly wedges so far.. They look so lovely with skinny jeans and skirts! The Judy Blame special editions are.. well sharp.

Also there are these Karim Rashid ones to check out.. which seems too futuristic and "designed" for my taste.. but they are ok.

Jellies! No!!! This is not cute. I remember wearing these shoes as a kid and I really didn't like them then....my feet would get all sweaty and gross. Yuck!

Oh something to add, best jellies that were ever made were from Burberry, the colorful thong sandal ones.

I think Zellers was selling them last summer for $10 - That's what turned me off!

when jellies were all the rage years back, i saw an old asian man wearing some pink ones. . .

anytime i hear the word jellies i think of him.

I still have scars on my feet from when I wore them as a child. Why on earth still bring them out and entice people to harm themselves like this. Though have to admit the Marc Jaconds ones are far more stylish than my pink glittery ones. (which are probably still at the bottom of the sea bed along the English coast)

yeah

I agree with Susy_bubble, they are kind of uncomfortable sometimes, because they do get kinda sweatyish, and sometimes they hurt the back of my heal. But I like the way they look
