Jeremy Meeks, the supermodel felon

Count me in! I'm almost angry at his wife for wasting her time 'holding him down' though.

Don't worry about her , if I'm not wrong since she was with him way before he started to be famous and have success it won't be too hard for her lawyer to ask for half of his money.. ( If he have some haha..)

Well, it's clear to me that he doesn't deserve her (meaning his wife ... probably he and the low-market heiress do deserve each other).

I dunno, does Philip Plein pay much?

Doesn't the law state something to the effect of 'a partner is entitled to half of the wealth accumulated while they were married'? If so, maybe that's why he ditched her so soon. Criminal mind, you see!

^ That's in a community property state, like mine. California has its own special laws ...

LMAO at people thinking Jeremy Meeks has money! From where? Definitely not modelling. He's still one foot in the gutter, and as soon as this rich girl gets tired of him, and the fashion world moves on, he'll be right back where he started. He's a meme not a celebrity.

Models scouts don't tend to hang out in neighborhoods like his. It seems like most American models come from wealthier backgrounds because models scouts don't have the vision to look in lower income areas.

agreed, I always see potential models in such areas yet they never really come out of those areas.

A balding thug with photogenic bone structure. Well, there's always a market for a bit of rough, although it seems you can't buy common sense.

Well, at least he appears to be earning his keep in and out of bed! There's something on Insta about him doing TopMan events in Los Angeles. I expect it won't be long before we see him in campaigns.

God, now there's another one!! Apparently nicknamed 'Prison Bae'. Forget hanging out in a mall to be chanced upon for your big break, you may have to rob or bash someone's head wide open before you'll see yourself on the runway.

This guy’s mug shot led to a modeling career

Meet your new prison bae.

Last May, Mekhi Alante Lucky, 20, was arrested in North Carolina for speeding and driving a stolen vehicle.

True to his last name, Lucky evaded jail time. In fact, his arrest might be the best thing that ever happened to him.

Twitter account Wake Mugshots found Lucky’s photos by scouring police records, and Lucky — and his square jaw — soon went viral, Daily Mail reports.

Even the fashion world was taken by him. Last week, Lucky signed to agency St. Claire Modeling in New York. Lucky has an eye condition called heterochromia that causes his irises to have different colors.

He also has a troubled past: The 5-foot-10 model has been booked for assault and breaking and entering, as well as resisting a public officer, reports the Daily Mail.

But fans are more focused on Lucky’s mug shot than his criminal history.

If Lucky’s luck continues, he may follow in the footsteps of “Hot Felon” Jeremy Meeks, whose blue eyes had New York Fashion Week aflutter in February.

That's his full portfolio on the agency web site. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why they would have his courtroom and mugshot photos in his portfolio.

The one I like the least is that second kitchen shot.

Why would they not include his whole claim to fame in his portfolio? -_-

The second kitchen shot? You mean the one where his pubes are showing? It is...an interesting choice. It's from his spread with Man About Town Magazine UK. I prefer not to be teased with full frontal nudity. Give it all to me or give me nothing!

I was under the impression that a model's portfolio was to showcase their talent. I would argue that the handcuffs only showcase that he is a felon. Of course, if that is what they are highlight...

I imagine he'd be just a blip on the fashion scene (if you can even legitimize it) but wow, he's still in the ring, huh?

Well, I imagine the fact that he spent time in prison must be a major draw for the likes of Philip Plein and Carine. Not that he'll need these portfolios anymore. He'll most likely knock up and marry Sir Phillip Green's daughter, which means will mean he's set for life.

Or maybe the agency is purely protecting themselves from opportunistic lawsuits? If he snaps, which he will one day, then the client cannot complain that they weren't aware of his criminal history.

Is there any evidence he's likely to snap? I don't think I know what his original crime was.

He appears to be a bit of a moocher ... but perhaps I've got that wrong.

He just walked Helmut Lang
