VERY unusual, I might add.Alura said:Finally! Just when I thought this season at Milan was becoming skipable Raf saved some of it. He fits the Jil Sander brand perfectly, love it, however: somebody feed the models!
Until Raf Simons presents his first women's collection for Jil Sander next February the label is in limbo. A team of house designers and stylists put together the collection shown today, and the coolness of the hooded shifts and minimalist coats in white cotton canvas made one think of the calm of a sanitarium. What fun. The lines were simple and the details annoyingly studied (like a row of mini-pockets on a plain white dress or random channels of buttons), and white mesh shower slippers only added to the impression that this collection was just holding space until there is a master in the house.
