Wow, what happened here? This is so drab. Awful prints, dull color palette, strange fit... the list goes on.

I'm so sad to say that this is very forgettable. None of the pieces really stood out. I was really hopeful that she would make the best of being back at her brand, but she really hasn't.

Weak collection. Winter ones are normally stronger than spring-summer ones designed by her.

It's like a dulled-down Marni collection without color (except those three paint-splatter outfits)

 

[Crying Diamonds]

The way those tailored jackets are cut, sublime with their single button closure, stand as a testament that Jil Sander is unique with her way of designing. If you see her clothes in the store, they are magnificent by themselves, formed and beautiful like sculpture, even without a wearer.
Like the tactile oversized coats Phoebe Philo presented last season, these jackets are my standout pieces for spring.

Damn I am shocked to see this from Jil because her clothes, though simple, always look so expensive even in pictures. Many of the looks are so dull and some are just scroll-down fugly (the one on Julia Nobis)
