I loved Kate before the whole cocaine thing blew. I respected her. But being a supermodel in my opinion should be about more than looking pretty and walking up and down the runway. You should be a muse. Inspirational. You should be dependable and responsible enough to understand that when you photograph for a label you are undertaking the difficult job and responsibility of being their walking "image". They are depending on you. If you are irresponsible enough to jeporadize what millions of girls dream of but only so few get a chance to do, for a cheap thrill... then you don't deserve to be respected until you prove that you've learned your lesson. This is her second time in rehab, no? She then hasn't learned a thing.

Who cares, she is earning more money than she was before her scandal. She is a great model, not a ROLE MODEL.

Erm...most of the children who actually would need Social Services don't get it. That's the cold hard fact.

I just think that her work isn't good anymore. I'd like her still if she would do the same great job she did in the Nineties and early 2000s, she had edge & attitude then. Though the McQueen stint was absolutely fabulous!

I think it's annoying when people think Moss is some kind of a role model...She has never tried or wanted to be.

None of this is about her being a great role model. I could care less if she was or wasnt. It's about being a great model. A great model should understand that an image is to be kept when a contract is signed and that cannot be denied. Esspecially when she is getting millions to do it. The fact that she can't do that says something.

I've noticed here that when the subject of Kate comes up there are, sadly, always going to be a few people who, being so fiercely intent on defending her honour if someone -gasp- says anything negative about her, end up resorting to childish bickering with other members who may not like her. It's all really immature and tiresome to be quite frank....

I don't see anything that makes Kate Moss so GREAT, from her looks to her style. She's overhyped to the max. I think that if Roberto Cavalli hadn't jumpstarted a bandwagon by giving her a contract after the scandal, no designer or magazine would've started featuring her.

I think Kate is one of the best models ever. She's an excellent pose, walk, look, face, everything. Yes, her style is a little...overrated, and recently she's been a bit off. She looked like crap in that Cavalli campaign, but excellent in the Amazing Grace W magazine editorial.

That totally changes everything!!! Get Karl on the phone, Twiggy says Kate is number one!! Who cares what Twiggy thinks, is ANTM still on?

and my respect for Kate Moss is rapidly diminishing they need to realise that they are rolemodels to young and easily pursuaded girls , They are sending the message that this kind of behaviour is acceptable .... tut tut tut...... Im only 14 and I have friends who look up to these girls to guide them as they mature !

kate moss is one of the very few celebrities i reeaally love and idolize, but goodness sake! and it is odd she's hanging out with a nineteen year old. more partyable? certainly, she can hang out with whoever she wants to. but

I think that this partying/drug/alcohol lifestyle has seriously taken a toll on kate's appearance..which is stupid for her because she basically has her looks to bank on..she has aged so much over the past year..maybe she should try growing up and being a responsible mother instead of acting like a freakin junkie who doesn't care about anything except their own good time

everything that goes into your system will eventually show up on your face and skin. she's not so horrible at 31 right now but no doubt everything will catch up even more. granted, people will still want her because she is kate moss but it's a bit sad. especially about her daughter

Her personal style is way overrated. When she gets it right she gets it right but other than that, I think her style is quite messy.

Don't get me wrong, I adore Kate. But she's just a normal human being at the end of the day. Though you wouldn't know it by the way some of her fans act here, it's becoming a cardinal sin to even utter anything that may be deemed at all negative about her in the slightest.....

Anyway, on the topic of Twiggy's comment, I find it rather tiresome that all of Kate's celeb friends are coming out and saying the exact same thing: Kate is back and better than ever. Okay, we got it the first couple of times round.....

Well there is that rumour that Lindsay has scored a campaign with Chanel angry: ) so perhaps that's why her and Kate know one another.

Pair of scrubbers both of them to be honest.....but at least Kate has style.

I can't picture the two of them as friends either. This is speculataion but if Lindsay did get the contract or is in the works to getting it... it could be Kate's way of jeporadizing her reputation FURTHER for taking the contract she lost (as Karl has reportedly had "doubts" of Lindsays potential).

Lately I've noticed that Lindsay just seems to be hating on or hanging out with ANYONE who will get her attention. It was Paris when she was big, then Nicole when she took over tabloids, Ashlee at the start of her career, now Kate with this whole scandal. She is DESPERATE to kill her kiddy image. To tell you the truth, I don't even see it dyeing. Although she is making films to this day, I see her as another has-been child star surrounding herself with all the wrong people and things. A la Macully Culkin (or however you spell his name).

Yea she was a lot better back then..at least in my opinion. I don't think she looked great in the Cavailli ad OR the Longchamp ad. As for the Rimmel one it's so-so. I think she'd look a lot better if she stuck to being drug-free cuz I think all those years of it really worn her looks down

i agree with twiggy and in response to yours i say she is one of many and cocaine is a major problem she's been under addiction for a long time and sometimes getting help seems the farthest from possible thing addiction is a such a major disease and cultural issue being a supermodel and world icon is second to well-being and in kate's case her fast-paced career just got ahead of her and she went down with the daily mirror who's to judge her for what half the world experiences - addiction?
