I don't get why people are talking about Kate partying "every once in a while". She's partying most of the time, at least by the pap pictures. I just don't see the balance...

I know that, I leave my daughter with my parents every other weekend so I can understand having "Me" time.

I was so shocked when I heard the news, and as much as I like Pete and Kate together they are not in a stable place to be having kids right now. Pete if he is to recover still has looong ways to go and I think so does Kate, Pete already has a kid and he rarely has anything to do with him at all, even calling him a bastard to the press and he himself saying that he had very little involvement with Astile but that his parents do visit him and love him very much, I mean for god's sake, Carl sees Astile more than Pete does and as stated here previously Lisa Moorish has nothing to do with it, she has actually gone out of her way to go to court and defend Pete and saying that he's trying to be a good father when the truth is Pete rarely sees him, and is only allowed when he's not on drugs and then that's even if he feels like it, so why should it be any different if it's Kate's baby? what if they break up then? will he stop seeing his child? in my opinion I do feel a little bit like Kate has Pete wrapped around her little finger and that what she wants from him she'll probably get but she definitely needs to do a lot of growing up herself before she decided to have a baby with Pete because she's not going to have Jefferson to be looking out for this baby as well, and also I think Pete should first take responsability for Astile before he goes and decides to have more kids.

I think it's laughable that some people actually think Kate Moss and Pete Doherty would make good parents.

Pete Doherty is a druggie who's in and out of rehab, throws stuff around, and has the responsibility and maturity of a kid.

Kate Moss is a model who's done drugs (and probably still does) who is immature enough to tag along with a druggie and goes out partying practically every other night.

You really think having a kid will instill some sanity into these two people? Kids need more than just money. They need parents who can actually be there for them and shows responsibility towards them. Just being 'passionately in love' matters jack-sh*t when it comes to raising children.

If Kate and Pete do have a child, I feel very very very sorry for that kid because it is going to be messed up.

I get what everyone is saying but what about the kids growing who have famous parents like The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Beach Boys and Elvis who all have widly publicised drug habits and were still using drugs when they're kids were very young. They turned out alright, of what Im aware of.

That is not the point. We are saying here that people with issues such as Kate's in general shouldn't have children (including the other drug-addicted models). I don't think anyone here has stated that Kate is a special case or that only she shouldn't have children in her state. Why we are only discussing about Kate is because this is a thread of her rumoured pregnancy.
