This is so true. She dresses for a total other figure - short skirts, dresses and skinny jeans are not her friend. She looks best in wide 1930's leg pants that draw out the line and more fitting tops. She always seem to go the opposite though with blousy tops and short skirts and tight pants. It's so odd.

SHe has access to the best designers out there, she has the funds to basically get anything she wants and yet she is one of the worst dressed people ou there, just goes to show a sense of style cannot be bought.

By the way I saw some of the pieces form the Holmes and Yang label, of which she is co-designer and it is seriously some of the worst, overpriced clothing I have ever seen.

She is far from being "one of the worst dressed". Like someone has already said, most of these casual pics where she's got sweats on are taken when she's on her way to/from gym. When she's out and about otherwise, she looks quite nice (albeit not always in ways most flattering to her body, I'll agree with that). The thing is though, when she went through her 'made-up whereever she goes" stage everyone was on her case for trying too hard, for being a robot, etc. Now that she cares less about her appearance, people complaint why she doesn't try to look better. It's a no win situation.

I wouldn't call her one of the "worst dressed people"... many photos are taken to/from the gym... but I guess there's room for improvement. It is only disappointing to see her in such casual garb because she can look so great when dressed up and put together.

Even her gym looks are so sloppy and strange. Nicole Ritchie and Kate Beckinsale are photographed in workout gear all the time, yet it's still trim and chic looking (as it can get I guess). Katie's hiked up huge sweatpants with thick ankle shoes or booties and giant sweat gear is just so odd. There's a way to look nice even when exercising.

I couldn't agree more...

Despite being a beautiful woman with (presumably) extraordinary access to designer collections, Katie seems to be a walking testament to the adage 'You Can't Buy Style'.

I think her greatest mistake is a total ignorance - or misunderstanding - of the proportions that would suit her body type.

It's something of a shame, because she has the raw material - in the sense of beauty, height and all the things I don't have! - to be spectacular.

The cover is nothing special, and don't understand why she insists to speak almost all interview about Suri...and don't tell me she needs to answer to the journalist questions, because if she really didn't want to, she could simply demand to not do so...I think both her and Tom expose too much their daughter....

History Channel Cancels 'The Kennedys'

Katie Holmes is starting off the new year with some unfortunate news.

The History Channel has decided to cancel plans to air Katie’s mini-series The Kennedys, according to THR.

“Upon completion of the production of The Kennedys, History has decided not to air the 8-part miniseries,” a rep for the network said. “After viewing the final product in its totality, we have concluded that although the film is produced and acted with the highest quality auspices, the dramatic license the series takes is not suitable for the History brand.”

Katie recently told Elle magazine that she worked as hard as she could on the project.
