I hate the outfit in the candids from Feb. 28th, I think that's the oldest she's ever dressed and that chunky necklace doesn't help it either. She looks great in the Glamour magazine shoot but she is starting to look one dimensional with her facial features. She tried to mix it up on the second to last one of the first set but it just looked horrible. Seemed like she was trying to be a poutty supermodel. The other shots are lovely though. I like the white strapless dress a lot.

Katie Holmes graces the April 2009 issue of Glamour in celebration of the magazine’s 70th anniversary. Check out some great interview snippets:
On being married Tom Cruise: “As a woman, you make the transition from being singe to [being] a partner. I have a teammate.”
On being a mom to daughter Suri: “Becoming a mother has been the most amazing experience—in an instant you become strong. You have to be a little bit wiser; it’s the most important job you have in the world… We like to be together, so we use the house for our [business] meetings. [We] play Yahtzee, board games, Scrabble. We grill; have pool parties. We play ‘The Three Little Pigs’ and Suri is the Big Bad Wolf. [Tom] reads [COLOR=blue ! important][FONT=arial,verdana,sans-serif][COLOR=blue ! important][FONT=arial,verdana,sans-serif]story[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] books to Suri and we all laugh. When a good song comes on, he’ll break into dance. We’ll watch movies in bed—recently Madagascar and Cinderella, for Suri. We have a really good time.”
On her career: “Acting—I want to do it all. Bad girl, good girl, complicated girl. Aren’t we all complicated?”
On cooking: “I don’t really cook that much—eventually I will. I do make cupcakes. And [Tom] makes his pasta carbonara for me. He knows exactly how to do it: a pinch of this, a pinch of that. He has a recipe, but he also kind of [improvises] by himself. You have to do the egg at a certain time. He did it once when we were camping.”

Suri Cruise is a Barefoot Baby

Katie Holmes helps her barefoot daughter Suri Cruise, 2, with getting her sandals on on Saturday (February 28) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 30-year-old mom had taken Suri to a fun art class with about five other students in it.
Levitating Suri is my favorite!
Katie is on the Glamour magazine April 2009 cover looking refreshingly gorgeous! She shares who her icons are: “Growing up, I always had my dreams set on being an actor, so I looked up to Julia Roberts, Audrey Hepburn. I also look up to Kate Winslet and Renée [Zellweger] and Cate Blanchett…and Diane Keaton—she’s a genius. I think it’s very inspiring to see these women attack such complex roles.”
