I saw the film on the opening night! I would be interested to hear what the non British lot thought of it. Personally i really liked it, but i felt it was more a BBC production shown over Christmas and not a blockbuster style movie. A review mentioned it had simple dialogue that sounded like something out of Eastenders (British soap opera) and it's actually quite true! It was definitely a budgeted film but i was drawn to its simplicity. P.S. Keira looked amazing, even at the scenes with minimal makeup/messy hair- and her voice is to die for!

My God, THE COSTUMES

In both The Duchess and Edge of Love the costumes look so good that I'll end up liking these films even if they're terrible in every other respects (I hope they aren't of course, but I'm already in love so I might not mind )
