Keira Knightley

you're all welcome:flower: if only i could find her other 2 covers ...:innocent:

does anyone know what she's wearing on the Tatler cover?

 there goes another classic movie down the drain.....unless she actually surprises us with real acting. And Daniel Day Lewis is an amazing actor but too dark and un-humorous to pull Rex Harrison's role.
I partially agree. Keira is incredibly contrite and amateurish to me. I didn't like the version with Audrey Hepburn (who was a considerably better actress) so I can only cringe. However, Daniel can do lightness and humour. You need to see the first hour of The Unbearable Lightness of Being. He is a fantastic actor and his brilliance, I'm afraid, will only highlight Keira's lack of talent even more.

I think Keira has managed to hold her own against quite a few well established actors- but The Duchess will certainly attest to her ability to do so since Fiennes is no one to be messed with.

^Fiennes;)

It will be interesting to see them together.
I think that she will do just fine!!^_^

^Well I it is a bit like with Natalie Portman: there are those who think she is a rubbish actress and won't change their mind regardless of what she is playing and the rest.

The thing I reproach her is that I am always aware she is acting, and she kind of has a signature way of acting, which make all her characters similar to me. I prefer a more organic style, such as Cate Blanchett's who doesn't act but just is.

Singing under the influence helped Keira Knightley ace her audition for the upcoming movie remake of My Fair Lady.

"I probably did slur my words," Knightley told the U.K. version of Glamour in its September issue about having a drink before her audition to play Eliza Doolittle. "I told [producer and theatre impresario Cameron Mackintosh] that would be the only way I could sing in front of everyone."

However, Knightley soon realized that calming her nerves also had its drawbacks. "The problem with doing it is that alcohol dehydrates you, which isn't very helpful for singing. But they said it was alright."

And so the actress, 23, will star in the much hyped remake of the 1964 musical, playing the Cockney flower girl turned society princess, made famous by Audrey Hepburn.

"There's nothing like a musical," she says. "Whenever I am feeling remotely down I put on Gigi. But the best musical ever has to be Fiddler On The Roof. I gave the DVD to my brother for Christmas in an attempt to convert him."
While My Fair Lady will mark Knightley's musical debut, it isn't her first time singing onscreen. She also sang in the recent biopic The Edge of Love.

Scary auditions aside, Knightley, who is dating actor Rupert Friend, told the magazine she has never been happier. "At this particular time, I probably am more comfortable with myself. Just now I'm having a lovely time."

New pictures! It seems like it'll be a great interview. And I'm glad to read the last part.

The Tatler ed is made of 3 shots. I am sorry to say it is not good: they chose her worst angles and the make-up makes her face looks like a skull.
Would you like a summery of the article?

I am always baffled at how magazines manage to make someone so naturally beautiful look so...odd. It never fails with her either. Thanks for the news anyway, Harumi!

I am so excited to see the three new photoshoots we'll be getting with Tatler, Glamour and Vogue. You know why I think they make her look so odd, they keep trying to do an 'edgy' look with her when that type of look doesn't actually suit her, she's got such a classic face that she doesn't need to have weird make up/hair to look beautiful. Grrr I'm really annoyed that the Tatler shoot hasn't come out well, especially after the promising cover. At least Glamour looks a bit more natural with the make up!

i just looked up vids or her singing on youtube. not only did she look stunning, but she has a voice of those 30/40s era singers. It's just stunning and sweet. I mean she obviously doesn't have the pipes of christina, but she did great! I love my fair lady too. Too bad I want the old one to be the only one even if Audrey Hepburn didn't sing I still loved it.

the glamour cover is lovely can't wait to see the pictures inside this and tatler

Ooooooh Im so excited to see those VOGUE pics, I still remember those africa inspired pictutres, hope the upcoming pictures will not be dissapointment.
Im not suprised those Tatler pics are not so goo, Tatler never has good photoshoots :(

I think I'm more excited for Vogue. I wasn't expecting much from Glamour, they usually have dull covers. It's good to see Keira, though!
