^Totally, Captain Lydia! In all the interviews and behind the scenes stuff I see, she really, really truly does come off as funny, self-deprecating, sweet, nice, etc. She is so cool. Like Lindsay Lohan, always complaining blah blah blah. I love Keira, and I think she's a good actress.

Sorry if this has been answered already. I haven't read every post in the thread. She appeared topless in both Dr. Z & The Hole. She was 15 when they did both and it was very controversial. The age of concent in the UK is 16 I believe. It's younger than in the US, I know that much. Anyway, when she did Bend it Like Beckham she was still taking exams in HS. She actually had to drop out and skip finals to do it.

She just turned 20 this year, 2005 in March. I think she is beautiful & talented and I don't understand why people are so hard on her and like other starlets that can't even compare. :yuk:

Oh dear... I've gone off again. I'm sorry. I'm a bit protective of her for some reason... not like I know her lol!

I love Keira, she really seems like a sweet, funny person. People hate her because she's pretty, skinny, got to kiss Orlando (though that would not make ME jealous, eck), etc. She rocks.

Yeah, I've heard a lot of women hate her because she kissed Orlando Bloom. I'll admit I think he's a fox, but I'm not going to hate Keira because she's smooching him in a movie. It wasn't even that great of a kiss. Not like they were frenching. She had much steamier scenes with Adrien Brody in The Jacket. Loved that movie by the way. So sweet. :heart:

She was 15 when she flashed her boobs in The Hole, which is perfectly legal because its not in a overly sexual way, it was just teens messing about and for a split second, if say she was in a room alone with an older man it woulden't have been allowed. She was 16 when she did Dr Z which is the legal age so thats also fine lol.

She did not drop out of high school, she did her G.C.S.E's whilst filming Bend it like Beckham (aged 16) and from what i've heard did very well :flower:

My brother went to school with her. Apparently she was a cow cos she had been on The Bill. But can't really blame her for that... I think we all would be if we'd been on TV!

And also yeah about the GCSE things... Ithill is right, you have to take them. You're not allowed to just drop them. So the rumour about her not doing them must be false.

Okay, thanks for the info. I didn't know what the hell happened with her school career. I was told she was a high school drop out so I didn't know. Glad to know you like her too. The more I read the thread the more I hear "she's annoying, too skinny, no talent" etc.

Makes me sad. :cry:
