   Yeah, be thankful that it is kabbalah. Lots of celebs eventually give it up once their red string bracelet starts to lose its color (with Madonna as an exception, of course)...unlike Scientology which sucks you and your soul in FOREVER!

Too true! Plus it seems to have a side effect of destorying your career. :yuk:

I wouldn't worry. The source is very unreliable. She was probably just wearing a red bangle.

I want to see the proof of this....
I'd be extremely disappointed if Keira turned out to be that dumb.

I honestly wouldn't care much. Most of the people in the world are religious. Just another thing I don't understand.

That said, I think the mini-article is probably BS. They report false information about her all the time.

As it is, "someone" supposedly spotted her wearing a red string on her wrist. Big deal.

Eh I wear a red hair tie on my wrist a lot, I suppose that could be mistaken for a kaballah string. I can't see Keira getting sucked into anything like that, she seems pretty grounded.

She wears stuff on her wrists all the time. I'll believe it when I see more than a red string on her arm (which hasn't even happened yet).

This rumor is truly pissing me off....
I want answers NOW.

And here's a pic of Keira after a TV appearance, from KeiraSeduction....

And this one is from the same source....

I actually wore a red band on my write too, some weeks ago cause my nephew gave it to me...everybody asked me if I was into Kabbalah

keiraknightleyap.jpg

British actress KEIRA KNIGHTLEY has been ruled out of a film or theatre part in cockney classic MY FAIR LADY, after acclaimed director SIR TREVOR NUNN insisted he was perfectly happy with his present leading ladies.

Knightley was reportedly "desperate" to play London flower girl-tuned-socialite ELIZA DOOLITTLE, a part made famous by AUDREY HEPBURN in the 1964 screen adaptation. But theatre mogul Nunn has no part for her in the play, despite praising her acting credentials.

He says, "Keira is a wonderful, talented actress and I loved her in PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, but no, I'm not seeking her for My Fair Lady. "There are two wonderful people (AMY NUTTALL and LISA O'HARE) playing Eliza on the current tour of the play and I'm very happy with them.

"I would not rule out working with Keira in the future - in fact, I'd be very keen to, if the right project came along.

^ She would have been spectacular in a film remake of that movie...can she sing though?

well i just meant that i can understand why she's always paired with older men. male stars "die out" much more slowly than female ones, so not many young male stars make it into hollywood at a time. meanwhile female stars have a relatively short shelf life and are constantly being replaced with the next "it" girl. i was just reading some celebrity article and they said that Sienna Miller was practically "middle-aged" and she's only 24! it's all very ridiculous.

so when i said it wasn't disturbing i just meant that it isn't disturbing because she isn't a child anymore. but it's definitely messed up. hollywood should change it's standards.

and back to style, i love the new Keira candids. she looks beautiful in those period costumes. :)

I wonder if she can sing. Most British actors get voice lessons. Kate Winslet has a beautiful voice. I don't think she's ever said if she could or not in interviews.

Keira once said in an interview that her voice is a bit too high in tone....u know, even Audrey Hepburn (whose voice was pretty good ) needa dubbed the singing part.....

***********

Nowadays, female celebs over 24 are regarded as ''too old'' to be a 24......Sienna is just unlucky...

Here is sth about Keira´s singing :p ::

KNIGHTLEY SNUBBED FOR PHANTOM ROLE

British actress KEIRA KNIGHTLEY auditioned for the lead female role in opera blockbuster THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, only to be told by casting directors "you can't sing".

The 20-year-old beauty labels the audition the "singularly most embarrassing experience of my entire life" and was relieved when they offered the role of CHRISTINE to trained soprano EMMY ROSSUM.

Knightley says, "I absolutely knew I couldn't sing it. But I went in, and they were like, 'No, no, anybody can sing. Just try it out.'

"And I sang and the guy went, 'You really can't sing, can you?''
