Keira Knightley

Was it Keira or the writer and director of the film though- that is my point. Joe was very proud of Cecilia being an "Ice queen" and actually, I got that vibe from her in the book as well until love changed her. But it is all a matter of opinion.

That was such an unnecessary exploitation of Diana, considering the only thing she has to actually do with that film is that she is a descendant of who Keira Knightley/Ralph Fiennes portrays. The movie does look very good though.

I betcha she gets a nod for Edge of Love just because she sings. Seems almost every actor out there that belts out a tune in a movie gets a nod these days whether they deserve it or not. Don't get me wrong I think Keira's worthy, but there have been others in the past that grrr...

And even though I find Sienna annoying as all hell off screen she's a bloody good actress I have to admit it so I'm actually rather excited for this film.

Yeah it is there are others it is quite a beautiful photo shoot it is some where, thankyou Rosemary

A new still of Keira from the Duchess c/o the Daily Mail which gives her a very lovely review. Can't wait to see this one. Here is a link to the article. Just scroll down a story!

This is so unrelated, but that beauty spot they've put on her just reminds me of Robin Hood Men in Tights, where King John's mole keeps moving about his face. Hahah, yes...I am so amused right now. It looks like it's going to be a great film, sans my stupidity about the beauty spot, haha.

i agree with the Atonement comments by BadHairDay...i thought she was pretty bad in it too, but maybe thats because the Cecila in my head from the book is nothing like Keira...

That's exactly the problem i had; the Cecilia that Keira portrayed in the film was just too cold for my liking. And i didn't like her voice at all, too strained or something. I couldn't quite put my finger on what was wrong but i just didn't like her as Cecilia. It's always harder to like a film character when you've read the book before, because you end up with this fully formed character in your imagination which inevitably just gets smashed by the movie interpretation.

emma watson is taking keiras place as face of chanel...

what do you think?

i was so hoping that keira would go one, she looked brilliant and she is so very chanel to me.
