The film was heavily advertised a lot here in London, but there was hardly any other promotion for it. I don't even think Keira promoted the film at all nor was there a premiere. It still managed to make it at No. 2 in the Box Office, though.
I feel like our starlet has lost some of her sparkle. The media seems to be shifting away from her and it's unfortunate. I want to see people amped up about her like the were for P&P and Atonement again. She's being under appreciated, but she was massively over exposed for quite awhile there and maybe people just need some down time like they did with DiCaprio.

Lets never talk about this againboth![]()

i've been thinking about this for few months now, i think what really strike me was such a bad reception of NLMG (you have Carey still riding on all the Oscar hype and Keira is Keira and it all wasn't enough). something's def off with her press duties, she's been off it for almost years now (with a shoot here and there and one big interview, i know Rupert rumor, but this came before the rumor). i didn't find her ever overexposed or under appreciated (if anything she was called a talent before she even showed it in full scale), it's like all the hype around her just dyed from all the hiding and doing theatre instead of movies, like the whole non-Hpllywood life hit her back like a bumerang (like she didn't have the right measuring when it comes to being in the wings) and those movies she picked to do are failing awfully (i didn't even know until now that LB was hardly in cinema, i thought it was just about to come out, not to mention it going almost straight to dvd) to reach bigger audience.I feel like our starlet has lost some of her sparkle. i'm hoping it's just all the pessimism speaking out of me atm.![]()

)that they broke up few weeks ago, if not more. What Rupert rumor?
And London Boulevard's on DVD already? I thought it was just now coming out? Damn.

I feel like it didn't do the book justice. The one thing that really griped on me was the electronic wristbands. Why did they feel the need to add that in?! That really wasn't the point of the story at all. Good acting, though.Just so you guys know, I agree it is quite weird she didn't do LB promotion at all. But for NLMG she was tied up working with Chanel in Paris and couldn't make it until the London promotions. The way NLMG is being ignored is sad, but I mean, Carey has quite a presence on her own and I think people will look back at that film and see those three actors and know it was a classic, or at least deserved more attention than it got.
That being said, something is a bit weird. It could be Rupert. I don't know. But in a few weeks time we'll see her a lot with the play. So just try to remember that and be happy! Not to mention I hope she does a lot of press for A Dangerous Method. I think she will.
