Yes. But Angelina Jolie or Nicole Kidman have such interesting, unique features that might diverse people, but that's why Kristin Kreuk isn't that 'famous' for her looks either. Because she's a classic, ''boring'' beauty I think. If she was at my university I'm sure everyone would say: omg she's sooo beautiful. But she just gets lost in hollywood. Because there's so,so many beautiful actresses and models. She just doesn't stand out. She's pretty ordinarily pretty if you ask me.

Not to offend you, but i could hardly say Nicolee Kidman has a 'unique' beauty...especially if you're talking about natural beauty as well.
First off, she was an ugly duckling before she hit it big.
Second off, she's classy definately and i admire that about her but she's not any different features wise other than being pale and red head (which isn't that different).
Oh, and i personally don't find her good looking either (which of course is subjective).

I would say KK stands out in that her eyes are definately unique. Chinese almond shaped with the green-hazel colors inherited from her Dutch side.
What makes her 'plain' is her dress sense and how she portrays herself. Most other celebrities (including Nicole) are eye catching because of the way they've been made over in Hollywood (i.e dress sense, etc).
If you're talking about the individual person though, strippin away all the Hollywood luxuries and so on, KK is definately a different kind of beauty.

^Nicole Kidman is definitely not 'unique'. She's the epitome of classic beauty.

However I do agree with Leonie that Kristen doesn't stand out in Hollywood and maybe it's because of her dress sense and how she portrays herself. But I have a feeling that even though Mischa Barton isn't as pretty as she is, when the two are standing side by side more attention would go to Mischa.

Kristen doesn't stand out in a crowd in real life. She's the kind of person you have to be friends with or see for a while to say "That girl is quite pretty".
I've seen her shooting for Smallville quite a few times and she's barely noticeable. She totally lacks presence and looks a bit washed out.

I think she's really beautiful, simple and natural.

But for a typical hollywood actress she doesn't stand out because she doesn't dress horribly or act sl*tty like most celebrities out there.

She like "a girl next door".

How can you say she doesn`t have an unique beauty,look at her features!You don`t get famous just by being beautiful,you have to be in a couple of big movies,have a sex tape,date someone famous etc.If Julia Roberts is the best payed actress does that mean she`s the most beautiful too?To get famous you must really work on getting there,the whole overnight succes is BS.
