^ I think she doesn't want to be an it-girl, she's said it in most of her interviews, so she keeps to herself pretty much in the public eye in order to prevent that from happening.

...I don't think it has anything to do with personality. She hardly gives any interviews (when she does though, she comes off very sweet and down-to-earth though). I think it has to do with with the lack of publicity she has. She keeps her self very private and she still resides in her hometown, when she could easily move to hollywood and be 5x more famous.

I wasn't referring to her lack of personality, but to her lack of charisma. Those are different things: you can have a nice personality and still be bland and unremarkable.
