i have no idea what blouse that is...
i never saw the mag...

but i do recall...
it may be because the call it 'pre-spring'...
and it's not there until feb...
the sales staff aren't always geniuses when it comes to this stuff...
a lot of them are young and just don't know what is going on...
also-it may be that the buyers aren't communicating everything to the salespeople...

oftentimes you get better service in a smaller boutique for this reason...
ie-linda dresner...
where you may actually get to speak to the buyer who has all the info...
that is what i did at the trunk show which is why i know the scoop...

OK, I'm gonna call them again ... did you order anything?? I agree with you about the smaller places ... I think they're also much more conscious of service since they often don't have huge swaths of people drifting through, people often have to make a special trip and they do that for a reason ... Although, I tend to have the scoop no matter whether I work at a small or a large company, so I think it's largely a matter of having the will/ability to ferret out information, and actually caring whether it's correct

no-i didn't place an order based on my previous experience at their trunk shows...
i just made sure that they ordered the dress i like and a particular person is supposed to call me when it arrives so that i can try it ...
same with the jwlry...
no point in placing the order when we don't know what will actually to into production...

apparently i am not the only one who did this...

and i don't think anyone ever ordered it so i believe it was never produced...

on a more positive note...
the dragonfly pin and beetle pin that i really was lusting over are on sale now....
i need to figure out if i really want them......
i kind of do...
but not sure which one...

i love this. there's a hint of ysl but in general, fits the lanvin aesthetic. i really love this, very clean and sophisticated. i must say i prefer this than most of the new york resort collections.
