Lanvin S/S 2010 : Jamie Bochert by Steven Meisel

I kinda like it. Mainly because you can't see her face but that's beside the point.B)

I can't help myself but thinking if there wasn't Lanvin written in that beautiful font or knowing that Meisel did this, I wouldn't like it at all. This could be Sportmax or Custo Barcelona then I could care less.

I like the lamp and the movement though and I'm ready to see more, it certainly isn't bad.

its actually better than i expected , like someone else said thank god we can't see her face

Sounds harsh but the reason I like this so far, is because I can't see her face. There isn't any denying that her poses aren't good as well.
Defiantly looking forward to seeing some more. Thanks for posting MMA!

She doesn't look like she's 'moving so fast that the chandelier is moving with her', she just looks as if she got her hair snagged in it and is in the process of being scalped. Very odd

The more I look at this the more I like it.It's so different from what you'd expect from Lanvin.

This is so striking! I can't stop looking at it.
Can't wait to see more.

Beautiful love it, and i do hope there is more where you can see her face.

this is motion done right. i love this so much more than the missoni job last season. also, it gives those rather ladylike clothes such a youthful and carefree spirit.

Oh thank god. When I saw the title of the thread, my heart sank but not being able to see her face makes me actually love this campaign.

Terrible use of photoshop  It looks like it was made by a student who has just learned how to use it.
I like the pose though.

BRILLIANT CAMPAIGN  :buzz:

not being able to see her face makes me concentrate more on
the clothes, which are just simply breathtaking, especially
that black one. and Jamie's poses are amazing, they show so much
life and energy. i'm glad that it's not just another bunch of models
looking lifeless amidst a backdrop of colors and hazy lighting.

I was scared about the result of mixing one of my fav designer collection with Jamie, since she looks, imo, too vamp for those classy outfits.

But know I'm ecstatic! The ad is looking great! The dresses look amazing because of the motion and the poses...

I don't want to be mean, but I'm happy they didn't show her face too, that was the first thing that crossed my mind...

Meisel did a great job, but I don't like the weird photoshop in her arm in the right...Looks really weird...

It's hard not to compare campaign pics of a brand to last seasons, and last seasons were so good it's tough to forget, but I really like this too.
Great movement and I realise that Jamie is an acquired taste, but there can't really be any complaints about her here as her face is hardly visible.
Personally I would like to see her face in some upcoming pics.
Thanks MMA:flower:

UGH at Jamie  at least we don't see her face
Not so crazy about the whole thing though,it seems like she was photoshopped into that background in a very weird way

I am really enjoying this so far, it pulls out of the conventional but beautiful ads that Lanvin have done in recent seasons, I love the hair and the furniture all in the mix here. So far, so good

I like it, its very Eye catching, I'm glad that I cant see her face aswell :innocent:

Personally, I've envisioned this campaign to take place in some stifling, dimly lit bar in Buenos Aires. It's quite surprising to see such minimalistic setting, I'm very curious how will they present more opulent outfits.
