She goes to UCSB. She doesn't seem to be desperate for fame like the rest of them do.

On a sidenote, I can't believe people actually think what goes on in the show isn't set up. Just because you see it on TV or LC says it herself doesn't mean it's true.

I think everyone realizes that The Hills is "scripted" reality. My point to the other poster was that Lauren really was expected to do the work that was asked of her at Teen Vogue regardless of how she got the job.

i watched her o 2 epsodes of hills..and my thought was ...wow,this says all about us americans.these people on this show are so densed.lauren pissed me off the most.she keeps going on and about looking depressed and whining.hat is she so sad about constantly?she has a great job,boyfriend,friends...wt's her problem?and her stupid friend heidi,i want work but i dont want to work.lazy butt who is a spoilt bratt.

All the stupid things LC and Heidi do (mostly Heidi) drive me insane. It's very obvious they shouldn't be doing it and makes me so nervous. You're given a great opportunity and give then easiest small tasks! How can you mess that up?

I am so bummed that there is only one more episode of The Hills. I don't know what I am going to do! It has seriously become my summer addiction. Hopefully, Lauren won't disappear from the spotlight too much because I would miss seeing her.

In last night's episode, she was wearing a head scarf and tied it into her bun. It looked really cool! I want to try it, but I am not sure I will be able to pull it off as well.

She struggled with it previously, before she was placed in the media, so you wouldn’t have been able to see it. Also I always get a little miffed when people say 'who hasn’t stuffed with anorexia' etc because so many people have not. Of course a minority have and because they speak out it seems so vast but many people have a healthy frame of mind in that sense and I just think it’s quite a heightened statement to make.

Lauren has never given a single interview where she mentioned or spoke of having an eating disorder nor has this been revealed in any article. I think we have to be careful in reporting hearsay from fanboards as fact especially with regard to such a serious, personal issue.

I completely agree. I'm going to miss seeing what Lauren does and wears every week.

Lauren wore a scarf with her bun in the Christmas/New Years epsisode.
