Leg Warmers

I have worn them before with heels. I have basic black ones and black ones with red, yellow and aqua hearts all over them. I couldn't bear to cut the heart ones but with the black ones, I cut a small hole in the back to slip the heel through so that I could pull them down low and almost give the illusion of boots.

I don't like them so much with flats because legwarmers tend to make legs look stumpy anyway and so do flats so double whammy.

I just got back from NYC. and still can't find any thin black leg warmers (black) all I could find were these really think ones, that don't flatter u'r legs at all. Does anyone know where I can get them. HEEEELP!

I saw some thin, black ones at H&M a while ago. They also have similar styles at hoisery stores.

I've also found a bunch at Value Village (thrift store). But these were the thick kinds.

They're easy to make. I made a pair of white angora ones out of an old sweater. But they were flared, not tight and straight legged.

I tried this last year but they flopped down. I guess you used really tight sweaters? Your white angora ones sound lovely.

Do you guys wear them with skirts or with jeans? I have like over 12 pairs of warmers but I hardly get to wear them.

I was strolling through Target yesterday and was caught totally off-gaurd by their selection of cute legwarmers all for $5.99.

They had thick and thin styles in pinks, browns, black, gray, white... all the basics.

I bought 2 pairs. I figured this was as good a time as any since I wouldn't spend much on this trend.

I bought a really nice pair of black leg warmers at Blomindale's, they are made by HUE. DKNY also had them but I thought they were too long. Hope this helps!!
