Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 20th birthday with a $100,000/- birthday bash that cost her nothing! PageSix reports that the tab for the secret bash at the Polaroid Malibu beach house on Sunday night was picked up Life & Style magazine in exchange for exclusive rights to photograph the event. As the former teenager partied into the night, security chased away the paparazzi who had gathered for the occasion

The Mean Girls star was pleasantly surprised by friends with a cake, icing for which had been created from a digital picture of her blowing a kiss. Celebrity friends including Courtney Love, Nicole Richie, Eva Mendes and Owen Wilson turned up to be with Lohan as she bid adieu to her teenage years.

Going by the appearance of the freckled star the next day as she sunbathed on the beach in Malibu, not to mention her track record for wild partying, Lohan more than enjoyed her birthday bash. She seemed dazed and rather unconcerned about the pack of paparazzi photographing her.

my guess is it's because her whole family's fair skined that they can't get darker except get more frecklier due to sun exposure. People who can't tan thinks its a luxury to be more darker than being pale.
