I think with items like this, yes you can appreciate them in pictures but to see it in person it allows for you to really appreciate the cut, the fabric, and all that goes into making a minimalistic piece. And I agree softie, it's a much underappreciated art, to pare something down to the essentials but have great cut, and shape.
That said, I worry about the fit being so slim. I mean how many people can wear something that is cut slimmer than dior homme? Also that first jacket. There is a great beauty about the leather but I don't find it minimalist at all. This could be just a comment on where I come from but I find it to be quite aboriginal and native. The idea of salted or tanned skin with the the edges being left as is, is quite an old technique of theirs.
