Loose T-Shirts

I love loose t-shirts. I've always been naturally a little plump around the waist haha...not fat, baby fat though...my face is one of those really round ones with cheeks that everyone pinches. every year in school we get to order t-shirts w/ our school logo, the eagle, in our school colors, which are black and orange..halloween! But they're really great cause they're cotton, and much looser than what the average teenage girl wears, which is tight stretchy shirts from Abercrombie and Fitch. Also love t-shirts that you get free from doing things...like volunteer work for American Cancer Society, walks and fundraisers things of that sort. You can also find this kind of shirt at Thrift and vintage shops. They're actually amazingly flattering for almost anyone's figures. I usually wear jeans with them, and am thinking of wearing denim skirt w/ footless tights...such a trend, but living in a small suburban town where people know absolutely nothing about fashion, it'd definitely stand out (hopefully in a good way!?!) I spice it up with fun bracelets/necklaces/bags/shoes. looove loose t-shirts.

Where is a good place to get some other than american apparel? I have such a hard time finding ones that aern't too tight but not too loose.

somtimes art supply stores have just plain cotton t's that are sooo so incredibly cheap, but loose fitting, and you could put your own touches on it! Urban Outfitters has some, and maybe Fred Flare? Lots of places are catching onto this trend, loose t-shirts, tunics, more flowy fabrics. Glancing around shopbop.com, revolveclothing.com, sites like that, a lot of the designers have looser fitting t-shirts!:flower:

Good ol V-Neck HAINES mens t shirts....can't go wrong

I love the look of worn out, long t-shirts with slim-fitting dark jeans. They also look good with menswear vests..

I like the look but not too baggy, it's ten times better than gross tight cutoff shirts.

I like snug tops ie skivvys in the winter and loose blouson tops in the summer , I think its more of a seasonal thing than a fashion one..

Just got some mens Hanes V-neck t-shirts today. A pack of 3 for like $9, and they're the perfect long fit :)

I love this look. It's so much more comfortable than tight shirts and if you grow it still fits :)

It's funny how the people who state that they love the baggy shirt look wouldn't go back to a skin tight shirt. Why does a shirt have to be one extreme or the other? I'm all for the fitted look to suit individual body shapes. Go with what makes you look sexy as your own person. Obviously the baggy shirt look might not suit every one, but that is where customisation enters. I have a small waist so I'd maybe wear a belt round a loose shirt to give some definition

The bigger, the better. They're so comfortable, and one of my all-time favorite clothing item. I can't get enough of loose tees in my wardrobe. Esp band-tees.

Hm, my aunt always complains about American fashion, saying it's vulgar and tasteless, but we're Russian from Moscow the peek point of fashion area so she tends to be a little over judgemental ;)

I think if the shirt is loose but not too baggy that would be lovely, but anything on the extreme oversize is the extreme overkill.

A bit of balance is always a pleasure!

I like this trend, but I think it's something only thin girls can pull off. Put a curvy girl in a tent-like top like that white one in the first post, and it's a disaster.

exactly
so please for safer streets\malls and everywhere else, if you're under the curvy-cious category, please stay out :flower:

I love loose t-shirts!!... I use oversized ones when I sleep sometimes, I DESPISE small t-shirts and the loose ones just look so cute and comfy!!
I wear them to school all the time, they're perfect:)

yeaahhh they're easier to be inn... you'll never be worried on your belly showing... or the little fat sides.. or your panties or crack out your jeans when you sit or bend over.......
i  loose tshirts!!

haute femme I love your idea..loose shirt, skinny jeans, vest=geniuus! I'll have to try that! It'd look great with flats or heels/boots as well!

I agree that loose t-shirts look better on skinny girls, I'm normal sized and they are really flattering, but a rule of fashion that "thicker" girls don't seem to understand (esp. in my town..) that if you're not stick skinny, you need to stay away from skin tight shirts. My brain has been damaged from all the muffin tops/butt cracks/bulging bellies that my eyes have seen!!

Great Shirt

I LOVE this oversized V Neck from Mark and Estel...totally the kind of V neck that's loose but still flattering..would look cute with tight jeans!
