to me...this really echoes his marc jacobs colleciton. and this season's prada towards the end? i mean...layered bustiers? but enough about that..

i think this actually makes for a very beautiful runway presentation, but this is the least amount of wearable clothing i've ever seen on a louis vuitton runway. some of the things are BAD. the blue shoes?

Just saw it, it really sucks. Hideous clothes and bad music which totally doesn;t match with the clothes. I don't know what Marc Jacobs is doing indeed. I have never imagined that a huge fashion house would make this kind of collection. Those fur, hat, clothes and shoes suck.

Me too. At least it wasn't a disappointment when I wasn't expecting much.
I agree that there was too much Marc in this...I tried hard to but my bias aside and like some of it, but it was hard. I do like Hilary's jacket and Vlada's black dress though...
The murakami fur/bags/hats I can live with (the tackiness has always fit my image of LV) but the pink velour pants!!!! I did not see coming..

Lol the front row, especially Pharrell, doesn't look too thrilled in #74 too.

LV sell bags and wallets....
the clothes aren't even available in many places..
the runway shows are more for marketing than anything else....

they don't sell much ever...
so i guess marc just plays around with it and experiments with stuff...

i agree with bidwell...
it swings dramatically from one season to the next....
there is little or no consistency...

i loved the last two fall collections but it's hard to find the good in this one....
aside from a jacket or two...
so strange...
there is no brand identity in the clothing...

i really dont hate it, i just wish it was better. a lot of the pieces are nice, but they are ruined by those pink pants or the murakami fur.

I watched the whole show on the website. I had a liking to the shoes and metallic bags and some of the skirt suit outfits. I thought the Music was cool with all the rock verison of pop songs. I didn't like the the coats and skirts the were made of or covered in fur......yuck!......and the hats were nasty. In all this isn't a very strong colletion. It reminded me of the collections he did in the early 2000's.......so basically not that flattering.
