No, it looks like there is a clear plexiglas support in the middle, just to give it the illusion of there being a hole. The hole is probably between the plexiglas sole and the rubber bottom of the shoe.

I just watched the Style.com podcast video of the show, and I FINALLY formed an opinion about it. I do like most of the pieces, but I think that the only problem was the styling. Their was much too much knitwear, and I think the collection could have benefited greatly from a few more shiny/sparkly clothing pieces, not just accessories.

My favorite pieces are the fur skirt (not very practical, but really pretty), a black strapless dress with the grey metallic bottom, the gold duffle, the platform boots, and the hats most of the models wore.

Definately not his best collection (double for the accessories), but they really do look luxurious!

They look like it has support because the foot goes in on an angle. But the heel iis flat so it seems all the weight would be on the flat area

If you were Andre Leon Talley, they would, but for you average everyday fashionista, I doubt it. Im sure if you threw enough money in thier direction they'd do anything...

there are some cute pieces- but like the Marc show, the styling makes it really dificult to tell if anything looks good/ wearable at all- why does he feel the need to layer the models up like hobos? I mean....

Eew. Eew. I thought we already got sick of the monograms. Now they're making them bigger.

I don't actually would have anything wrong with this if it wasn't for the strange colour combination.

This reminds me of those cooler bags - y'know those bags people use to put drinks to keep them cool when they go for picnics? The use of the bright shiny metallic material for the bag is just too flashy - and not in the witty sort of way.

But the collection has its own merits, actually. Aside from the above accessories, a lot of the others actually look great and exude luxury.

This bag is pretty (and the monograms, being used in an understated manner, contribute to the feeling of luxury instead of looking too tacky) - I especially like the brown chain by the sides. Gives a sort of "I'm a rich pretty girl but I'm tough so don't mess with me" look.

Five words: Simplicity at its most luxurious. Again, the understated use of the monograms is commendable.

Leopard prints have always seemed to me to be tacky and so have the monograms, but for some reason their combination in this bag seems to be perfect. Not as in perfectly tacky but as in perfectly FOXY. Yeah, good word.

To conclude I think this collection has its own merits, but is still somewhat weak (like the spring collection, which, frankly, I didn't like a lot).

I don't think they're going to phase it out for a long long time. For one thing, the monogram has become so associated with Louis Vuitton that no collection is complete without it. It's practically become a universal symbol for the brand.

On the other hand, I'd like to see them use the monograms in some other ways. This is a very bad idea but it'd be interesting to see them attempt to integrate the monogram into clothes. Maybe they could use it for the belt. Or maybe they could make bling-bling with dangling silver LV monograms gilded in gold and diamonds. That could really make it hip.
