Saoirse Ronan and Lisa are pretty as a picture in Louis Vuitton’s spring campaign, and for good reason:
The two brand ambassadors were shot in front of works by French contemporary artist Laurent Grasso.

Marking their campaign debut for the house, the images shot by Steven Meisel play with the scale and atmosphere of the retro-futuristic paintings by Grasso,
Whose otherworldly landscapes were also featured on three looks during the runway show held in October in the Cour Carrée of the Louvre museum.

The multidisciplinary artist said he felt a natural kinship with Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of women’s collections at Vuitton.

I am surprised that it takes so long for Saoirse to land a major campaign and possibly become an ambassador for a major brand given that she is one of the most talented actresses of her generation! To me, those K-Pop stars are just like the younger generation of East Asian actresses, they blend into each other and I literally cannot remember who is who.

Lisa isn't East Asian though...

Wow, 4 images and not even a basic entry level monogram bag paired with avant garde 80's sci fi clothing in sight...I am SHOOKETH.
There's gonna be a separate campaign with basic merchandise items for sure.

Nicolas’s Balenciaga campaigns by Meisel were never great anyway but I finally welcome the fact that he is back working with MAS and Nicolas again.

It’s fine.

Lisa, full name Lalisa Manoban, is a Thai singer, rapper and dancer who found superstardom becoming a K-pop singer in the enormous girlband BLACKPINK.
She is one of the only K-pop stars to not be South Korean, but Thai, and is fluent in English, Japanese and South Korean.

The background is beautiful....Shame about the clothes.

I like the background (it reminded me of a photo of Stella by Testino), apart from that everything is terrible, clothes, celebrities with that terrible facial expression, that hair... Nicolas for LV is something that I really don't think was a good choice to this day!

Really not a fan of the shoes and bags. I love the clothes but I think the « total look » is not really appealing here.
There’s something very Balenciaga FW2010 in the spirit.

Ok, so we gonna get an oversized monogram side trunk for 2025.
I hate the amount of slouchiness shown: slouchy Capucines, ill fitting loose clothing...
Styling is terrible, they picked the most basic and almost unoffensive items from the show
Those hideous shoes looking like a budget replica of Ghesquiere Balenciaga lego heels need to be burnt

By Steven Meisel?

Steven Meisel was as involved in shooting this as Louis Vuitton (the man) was in designing the clothes, bags, and shoes pictured.
