Louis Vuitton Speedy 25 or 30??

I considered an epi speedy a couple of weeks ago, but left the matter undeceided. I think I would've gone for the 25.

On a different notw, I found an article about a woman in a town on the other side of the country who had a "secret" store where she sold knockoff bags (she said she paid custom and let the custom officials inspect the merchandise before taking it into the country, apparently they had no objections She also said she wasn't worried about being sued by the designers, because they usually sent a warning first and if anyone did she'd remove the knockoffs by that particular designer from her store. But anyway, this isn't supposed to be about legal/moral issues) Anyway, this woman who was selling the knockoffs said she wore her bags herself, except from the Vuitton bags, "because no one would believe they were real anyway".

And I guess it's true, so I'd rather get the epi than the monogram speedy.

jun- i agree... i was really into balenciaga and paddys for awhile there, but now i've gone back to the classics --
LV monograms and chanel. still love them and could careless about all the fakes!

i love my speedy 25... i've had it since before the hype was huge and now that's its semi-dying down (at least in DC) it's nice to carry it... my mom has the 30 and i love it... SO big and roomy.

I have a 30 in Mono and the Cerise in 25....both bags are very functional PLUS I love my cherry speedy. It's so cute ...

i have a speedy 25, and I guess im not in love anymore, i think its too cute and SMALL..I love big bags,.i was thinking to get the speedy 30,and sell my 25...30, it looks nicer to some other peoples(tall), I dont know about me, so, do u guys think its too big for slim 5'4 girl??

yes, im like 5"1 and a half (just had to add that half inch haha) AND i own a speedy 30. i dont feel it overpowers my small stature at all.

it's the perfect bag for travel, work, and school (in my case).

you can literally fit your life in that tiny bag and ill love it forever.

I'm 5"2 and I have a 30. Maybe it's because I like big bags but the 30 doesn't seem overly big or "huge" at all . It is perfect. I looked at the 25 the day I bought my 30 and it was just miniture. Like, I was laughing at the way it looked near me,it looked like a child's handbag. Go with the 30 it's the perfect size for everyone.

I just got my Speedy 30 yesterday at Saks! I had been saving up for it and so far I am loving it. I was torn between getting the 30 and the 25 but I am 5'7' so the 25 seemed very small on me. The 30 is perfect! The only thing I am concerned about is that I had the lady get me a brand new fresh one and if you have seen how Louis Vuitton ships their bags, they completely fold them up. Anyway my bag has creases from the folds. The lady said the more I use the bag the creases will dissapear. Has anyone else had this problem? I have a couple other LV's and I don't remember seeing creases. But besides that, I am very very happy!!!

My both speedy has creases from the folds too, but thats not a big problem. When u use it often, it will dissapears. Enjoy your bag!
