Madonna new face of H&M?

H&M Teaming Up With Madonna!

Here it is:

Upcoming Advertising Campaign With Madonna and Dancers to Follow

In a dream marriage of music and fashion, Madonna, has joined up with fashion giant H&M to supply a complete off stage wardrobe for her entire touring troupe including her band, dancers, crew members and the Material girl herself, it was announced today by H&M. With a shared philosophy of diversity and fashion freedom, "Team Madonna" participants will be free to choose clothing from H&M's extensive 2006 collection.

Madonna, whose Confessions Tour opened on May 21st, will be dressed by famed designer Jean-Paul Gaultier while on-stage looks forward to being equally fashionable when she steps off the stage in H&M.

"Partnering up with H&M feels like a perfect fit. We'll all get to express ourselves in our own individual ways. The dancers and I are excited to go shopping together," stated Madonna.

Other aspects of the collaboration between H&M and the artist will include a specially designed Madonna track suit which will be available in H&M stores in mid August as well as an advertising campaign featuring Madonna and her legendary dancers.

"This is a thrill for H&M. Aside from being great fans of Madonna's music and fashion sense, we admire her ability to always be ahead of the trends in everything she does. We look forward to seeing how her touring family translates H&M's seasonal trends to their own personal looks," says H&M's head of design Margareta van den Bosch.

Founded in Sweden in l947, H&M, which has over 1,200 stores in 22 countries, is synonymous around the world with affordable, up to date and high quality fashion. The company's collections are created by their own designers. The spring/summer 2006 seasonal trends are romanticism inspired by the early l900's - clean cut tailoring in light neutrals and Riviera style preppy glamour. In addition, there is a wide range of updated classics including knitwear, denim, t-shirts and mix and match sweatshirts and accessories to complete any individual look.

Madonna, a multi-Grammy Award winning artist, children's author and visionary is a cultural innovator of astonishing diversity and enduring appeal. Her current CD Confessions On A Dance Floor debuted at No.1 in 29 countries. The Confessions Tour is scheduled to travel the world through the end of September.

I don't understand one thing.... is she going to be in a collection created by Viktor&Rolf? what these 2 things have in common?

Too bad Madonna wouldn't be caught dead in H&M.... as for denying her wrinkles... we all get them when we get old... rich or not... saying she doesn't have any without a little help is redicoulous...She should stick to leaching on Britney

but you also don't have to be bitter about the fact that she DOES look great! She's always taken good care of herself, stayed out of the sun, which keeps wrinkles away, had the best facials, etc, etc. So far she hasn't had any cutting done, fill-ups, or injectables at the most! As she still looks like herself, unlike maaaaany other f*cked up celebs who had the worst possible surgery ever to be performed on the face of the planet!

And M's body is a body to die for. GREAT shape, flexible, youthfull and full of energy. Besides, H&M asked HER, not the other way around, so if you have a problem of celebs doing ad campaigns, take it out on H&M, don't trash Madonna because of it...

and the guy saying M was leaching on to Britney? I don't see Britney having a career of any sorts (other then tabloid princess), having a worldwide chart-topping album in over 40 countries, one of the biggest singles of the year and performing on a sold out world tour.... unlike you know who! The big M rocks the house!

I can't wait for H&M & M!!!

MADONNA'S HIGH STREET MOVE

IS Madonna about to sign as the new face of Hennes & Mauritz? According to a report in Swedish newspaper The Daily Expressesn, the singer is currently in negotiations with the company about posing for a campaign to advertise its new high fashion line – by Viktor & Rolf – that is due in stores in November. "She's a superstar, a style icon – and controversial. Now Madonna could be H&M's next clothing model," it said. While the company itself is being characteristically reticent about commenting on the rumours, the Expressen cites Madonna's long history of collaboration with Swedes, including music producers, songwriters, music video directors and yoga instructors, as proof that she may soon be its new model. So the H&M line is designed by Viktor and Rolf. I'd say "I can't wait!" but it appears I'm waiting just fine. But I'll be peeing myself with non-bitter Madonna tracksuit delight come November, I'm sure.

If those indeed are the tracksuits, they are stunning: no tight terry cloth, no spangles, and no "Juicy Cooter" across the ***. I am camping outside H&M on All Hallow's Eve, and I will put my Madonna tracksuit competitors into a submission hold on the sales floor to secure one in every color. Accept my challenge, Madonna wannabe tracksuit jujitsu champions! I will see you at Powell & O'Farrell for the Bloodsport Kumite!

They're all so gorgeous, may their myriad polyglottural grins purchase us the peace that passeth understanding, and a lotta acres between us.

The ads are up in NYC apparently now.

Pic is from perezhilton.com...............he has some more posted as well.
