it was actually pretty boring in person...
i expected so much more....
but he is back to being humdrum...
:ermm:...
I loved the music! Backstage was kinda boring, but the show was very dramatic....not to mention the craziness outside..

oh my gawd, i thought this hadn't shown! And it's 4-5 WEEKS ago!! I'm a little disappointed, but feel that i have to watch the collections several times on style.com, see pictures in magazines etc before i can make up my "totale" mind.

Thank you Kuba for all the hq's:flower: I think the strongest part of this collection is the accessories, love the evenlope clutches! Im still on the fence about the collection as a whole though because while its great to look at and will be fabulous for editorials , im not sure that its the direction fashion is moving, I think the shapes are great but it could be a little bitmore modern, I dont think women want to look like they stepped out of the 40's, it willl be interesting to see the commercial line

The shapes and colors are excellent once it filtrates its way down , it will prolly the most copied collection esp the blazers , sweaters , lapels ,accessories , heels , and updated in more contemporary colors. Pretty look. BTW it references the 20s/early 30s not the 40s thats a whole different era.

The edited version of the video is now up on the Marc Jacobs site. :flower:

Wowsa......talk about a gorgeous collection. Its so different from his previous work. I'm hooked now.

The look overall seems to have held up well after Paris, it's strong and I'm liking the simplicity and laziness of the details overall.

thanks for the hq pics kuba...:flower:

i'm going to the trunkshow in san francisco on march 22...
can't wait to see some of these pieces in person...^_^
