Actually you could see a lot inspiration in this , I spotted like 5 . The color scheme was awesome , after seeing so many boring collections, this was refreshing.

Very few nice pieces, most of them were quite underwhleming, but you can't really tell from a stream.

I liked the colors though.

it's very boring to say 'oh this was inspired from this and that decade' but this collections looks and feels extremely 70s. it reminds me of ysl, biba and sonia rykiel all at the same time.

TERRIBLE!
I think I've never seen such big amount of rubbish in one single collection
The shows was pratically of an inspiration:first looks were a lot looking like Dior SS05 final part,with fizzy hair and very hippie bohemian looks,big skirts and large pants and so on,then it started to look like Emilio Pucci/Etro with all those printed dresses and then it turned very girly and ridicolous with jackets and coats which looked more like candy wraps
The shoes looked pretty uncomfortable since every model was like stomping like horses on that terrible post nuclear disaster runway...
The worst show of the season so far...bravo Marc!

I was bored with the neutrals and pastels after 1 day of fashion week already, so all these warm Summer colors are really just what I was waiting for This is high beach glamour in the seventies....absolutely loved it to pieces. Love the flowers, love the dresses and God how I love Vivaldi's Summer on the soundtrack. Truly an excellent show and collection. Just what I was waiting for....


Oh and I kept thinking this throughout the show, so I'd thought I'd share it: this was Dior S/S 05 done right

The colors so reminded me of tropical gummy Lifesavers--so great and vibrant, very summer-y. I really loved this collection. The flowers, the semi-ugly sheen fabrics, the hats-just everything. The colors worked so well together. I knew the minute that Galliano did flowers for Fall/Winter 10 HC that we would be seeing them all over the place, and look, we are. But overall great collection, loved the dirndl skirts, didn't quite get the one bikini, and loved the obnoxious flowers...

The collection mostly reminded me of some of the 1972-74 collections by Lagerfeld and YSL - worn by Pat Cleveland and Bianca Jagger etc. It's simply inspired by some of the best stuff of that era.

I actually really liked this and I haven't liked a Marc Jacobs collection in a while.

Not everything, it wasn't perfect (I'm sure I saw palm tree on a dress and I didn't love some of the voluminous-armed pieces) but I love the colours and there were lots of really gorgeous dresses, especially some of the dresses. Very 70s vibe and I see why a lot of tweets were saying "Missoni" in places. Overall, definitely more positives than negatives for this collection.
