Margaret Howell F/W 10.11 London

I want to love this but I just don't. I do like the shearling coat and the long strap leather bag, but other than that nothing really jumps out at me.

this is a really lovely collection from MH....whose clothes I always quite like.....the use of classic heritage fabrics - flannels and tartans - arran jumpers, cable knits - are all beautiful and, I think, look fresh too. There is a trend in menswear for slightly dandy but practical sporty winter clothing (junya has been doing it for several seasons now) and I think this almost looks like a female equivalent. I say 'almost' because with the menswear there tend to be more techno fabrics used...waterproofs etc whereas here we have a less 'twisted' look. There are lots of pieces I would wear . well done Margaret.

Pual Smith 2.0..reminds me of Tommy Hilfiger too, plain and predictable.

am really not feeling those checked trench coats and long shirts from several designers this season, they remind me of pyjamas

Definitely one of her better collections in quite some time...
These are clothes you can truly live and grow in. I absolutely love the silhouettes, the color palettes, the proportions, multitude of layers and the overall comfy familiarity of it. Beautiful stuff

I like this
