Better COO than CD.
I feel like there is a greater business protection to being COO, and it doesn't come with as heavy a pressure as a CD role. So that is good for her. I think she is more of an officer, than someone who should lead creative teams anyway.
It's also very interesting to see how well Pierpaolo has done without her at Valentino, following her departure from their design duo-ship, and then to see how well his debut was received at Balenciaga. It makes me wonder, when they were a duo- did PPP carry her? Because I've not liked anything she has done without him. Super interesting to consider.
To that end, @moderators -- thread title needs to be revised.
