Hey, those pictures in #97 actually look a bit more promising! Although they do bring to mind the awful SS08 collection.
I don't get it when people say designers are being "democratic" with this, though. For example, I would love to afford McQueen's main line - and still it doesn't bring me any relief if he does a collection for high street, because those clothes have nothing but the name to do with the clothes I would buy had I got the means to. So I don't see how someone who dreams of McQueen clothing benefits from this...
Besides, isn't this more "McQ" than "Alexander McQueen"? McQ has never had anything in common with the main line, the McQueen we see on the catwalk.
