Minimalism S/S 07

I loved the Rag&Bone collection.
Fashion needs minimalism right now, it's such a contrast to all the accessory heavy celebrities at the moment.

Vive le minimal! It will never go out of style I think. In my opinion minimalism is one of those "looks" that transcends decades.

Wow I love those pictures..
I find myself wearing simpler outfits by the day. Now when I put on accesories ( big earrings, necklaces, bracelets) I always end up taking them off again.. It feels so ..wrong?

minamalism is my favourite style ever!
yigal azrouel did it perfectly. i would absolutely love to have all of his collection + rag & bone, zero maria cornejo and calvin klein. so easy to wear and it looks great :)

come back the minamalism al last! because in the last season I've seen outfits very odds!

Oh dear. This thread had me drooling all over my keyboard. I personally don't mind when minimalism is mixed with futurism, so I have very high hopes for '07.

Minimalism is so sexy. Classic looks with a bit of mod.

As a guy, I have a very minimalist style, but I like to incorporate some vintage articles and accessories for a very individual/unique look.

The most appropriate look for a man.

Same here. Ive started to wonder if it's some sort subconscious reaction to seeing so many badly dressed people wearing a million and one accessories and lots of different patterns all at once. Minimalism is definitely the way forwards for my style this season :D

I agree. Although it may not even be subconscious. Trends seem to be getting uncomfortable and obnoxious.

Yep, this is definitely my favourite trend  It feels so natural and not at all contrived or forced... Minimalism is  but I feel that it is also right, in a way. Everything right now is so chaotic, it all happens so fast... I think minimalism is a refreshing option that brings us back to basics and to simpler (but not less stylish), cleaner silhouettes.

Very true! Especially how everyone is always trying to be so edgy....boring! If anything minimalism is the only thing I can think of that is remotely different and dare I say, edgy in it's rejection of the notion of edginess haha.

I've always loved minimalism, however, its rather a challenge to get good, affordable minimalistic items...:(

i think after all this 70's, 80's craziness, in about 2 seasons we will get back to
basics... to the minimalism... which is good, but not so creative... nowadays u can wear whatever you like, and if know how to wear it,u won't be a freak... minimalism is very strickt

i love minimalism too.. u just need some accessories (simple ones) to jazz it up...
