miuccia is going in on these prints as of late. you can see the influence of the prada cruise images & how they translate & tickle to miu miu. i like this. its fun, bright & shockingly chic. its almost camp- which brings the set to life.

What happened to that amazing F/W 09.10 image she was creating? No girl was there. It was quite a womanly collection. I can't believe she went from that to this load of tacky baby wall prints...

That was an anomaly. Miu Miu has always had a kitschy/tacky thing going on.

I like this a lot more than I liked the Prada preview images, that's for sure. I can see some Miu Miu in this. It's a little rough around the edges, but I get what she's going for. The styling, particularly the hair and makeup, makes me think of Anna Sui though.

Too bad because I prefer that 'anomaly' over this. Even that collection had its tacky elements (those furry sandals for example) w/o leaving you a bad taste in your mouth.

I hope she'll improve the current image she's doing so far for the mainline. Take away those childish prints and all you'll have is an unsubstantial bunch of clothes.

^Thank you! Fall/Winter 2010 was straight up gorgeous while this just seems beyond disappointing. It's a mix of teen, a mix of 80's, a touch of tacky. Hope Miuccia nails it for SS11 cause both her labels for resort are disappointing.
