Miu Miu S/S 2021 : Emma, Allison, Kelsey, Topsy & Chloe by Steven Meisel

I cannot believe this was shot by Meisel!:blink::blink:

Emma Corrin looks terrible, the other girls on the website also look bad and the only picture that’s worth of publishing is the one posted here (double page one).

after such a good ‘Icons’ campaign with Kim Basinger et all!
disappointing!

Absolutely love Emma by Meisel! Hope to see more from them soon.

The haphazard thing they've got going on is divine and truly speaks to the identity of Miu Miu. It's exciting to know Katie Grand's "a beautiful day out in the country...with socialités" thing is over, Miu Miu always had divine campaigns before her!

The Bourdin-esque thing this campaign has got going on is already much more up my alley, very Miu Miu by Mert & Marcus ca.2009!

Thanks god no Lila, she's a terrible model...

It is the second time Katie is out and I am happy for it. She is one of the worst. Not fond of Lotta but her aesthetic fused with Miu Miu's DNA can be interesting and this campaign is the proof.

I can´t believe it´s by Meisel, it has M&M written all over it imo.

I liked the collection and it looks good in print. I'm happy about that. I could go for different models, but as long as they aren't the instagirls I really can't complain. Overall It's a good campaign, not amazing, but good. They've certainly done worse.

Just waiting to she Kelsey. And Lotta doesn't excite me much.

When the images are solo, they are kind of meh, but coupled together looks great. A little bit too M&M indeed, but the masterful lighting on the right shots and the poses on the left ones are very Meisel.

Not amazing, but still better any anything that other photographers would produce anyway. Was probably shot by him remotely, just like Prada?

The landscape shots are absolutely gorgeous, great use of colour and lighting. The portraits really pale in comparison.

totally agree. still think Emma looks bad though.

The images work well when presented together, I am glad this collection got a good campaign. I agree with Grimm that the left shots look a bit more Collier [than M&M] but I also agree with Ivano that the set/lighting evokes Meisel's VI July 1995 editorial "Post Modern Edge". It's nice that Meisel possibly referenced a mid-90s editorial considering this Miu Miu collection presented an actual piece (according to Katie Grand) from Miu Miu's S/S 1996 collection--I am assuming the plaid zip top.

Good riddance to Katie Grand though. I know Lotta Volkova doesn't have the best reputation on TFS but I hoped she would replace Katie at Miu Miu because Volkova actually wears and looks great in Miu Miu.

Beautiful campaign, nice than Meisel shoot the ads & the only thing than don't like is the Emma's solo image because she looks dumb. Also, i enjoy the Bourdin's style on the room background.

This is really giving me the “All Dressed Up with Nowhere to Go” vibe from Vogue Italia August 2012 which, come to think of it, was a very prophetic editorial. Unfortunately, it’s the poor man’s version. Meisel did it ten times better there.

Meisel's not best moment. He should stick to the highly polished style, think his understanding of youth is not quite of 2021.
Lotta - couldn't care less.
Katie Grand gone- def a refreshment.
