Model Casting F/W 11.12

I love that you can always basically just copy & paste last season's showlist for Balmain and Isabel Marant because it's the exact same cast every season It's super boring but since I always like their model selection I don't mind.

LOL, that's how I feel. Since I like the girls cast, I don't mind that it's the same girls season after season. In fact, I love the exclusivity of it all.

my biggest concern is Chanel ,
I hope this doesnt turn out to be nightmare with Candice etc walking

They should not do newbies for the reasons that many have been complaining about and that is that Arizona's walk is too hit and miss and that Daphne still looks scared / too young and in this case video from the show may get played in the mainstream media, and for that reason you do need someone who is a good walker and is also confident and has presence.

Does Pfeiffer have favorites or is it just gorgeous models in general?

He seems to love the classically beautiful girls indeed.
I think Pfeiffer has already casted the SS11 HC show of Dior. Also Pat McGrath and Orlando Pita have had an impact during previous sesons.... I don't expect big changes casting wise this RTW season for Dior, to be honest. Pfeiffer can't simply book who ever he wants, it's apparently a rather united decision there.

Arizona, yes there's a chance since they want her to open everything. But hope not.
Daphne: I think that's more hoping but you never know.
Who knows: I'll go for that option.

But pfeiffer casted Donna Karan, Michael Kors based on that good chance we see then Daphne, Arizona, Mirte, Karlie, Natasha, Karmen, Jac, Sigrid. Right?

Are you asking me why I included Karlie? If so, my response is that she is a good walker and has presence (at this point Karlie knows how to tone down the more eccentric aspects of her walk) and even though it is known that she is a Galliano favorite, presumably LVMH / Dior must like her too if she has done three consecutive mainline and a beauty campaign for them. Karlie Kloss is the face of Dior at this time so having her open or close signifies business as usual for them.

My only concern is that, and I may be overthinking things, while I definitely doubt if Dior wants to have their opening and closing faces to do press, in the event that they are asked questions like Chanel Iman was earlier this week, they may want someone more seasoned with the media to field these questions like Karolina or Coco.
