I've a question about the castings.
Who decides which face will open/close the show? The castingdirector? The designer? Because lot of the same faces open and closes (Arizona, JuJu, Daphne and before Jac, Sigrid) and I was wondering if somebody knows..?

Well actually the designers decide which girl they take for their opening and closing but since they very often take the girls who are doing really good the in season I think get "influenced" by the casting directors, model wave etc.
But I don't really know either.

It's most likely a mutual decision.... I think a casting director can make suggestions, but designers have the final word.

they've had exclusives in the past and it's more of a low-key thing but gave a real push to Rachel Clark (iirc) and Ginta
hard to evaluate, but the fact that they don't do it every season gives it some credibility imo

though i'm guessing this time it's probably girls who "happened" already or even special request vets. no idea, actually.

and dont forget her momentum did not start in NY
it started last season at Paris Fashion week in Celine and Alexander McQueen
she has done tons of lookbooks for the start which for sure will transition to campaigns very soon

so happy to see Julia soon on the runway again

Proenza's cast looks very good.
Still I'm missing Jac but there are some great picks for me - Suvi, Julia, Kaitlin, Bette ... make the show more interesting. I'm excited to see how that will translate on the runway
