Mr-Dale, I too like Bette Franke's return. I miss those girls and love seeing them come back once in a while.

I have a serious question about Zuzanna Bijoch (I just had to look up her name because I didn't know, just seen her everywhere). Is she cross-eyed? I ask because when she walks her head is turned to the right and she seems to be looking only with her left eye?

I know many believe that Keke Lindgard is really bland, but she has only booked 2 SHOWS. I don't get it. She has such a good walk and NY is the perfect market for her imo....

Elite London's FW11/12 showcards are out and there is no Merethe there, even though she had a showcard for SS11.

Could she be world-wide exclusive at Calvin Klein this evening, and not just a city exclusive?

I feel it's kind of odd that Elite London doesn't want to showcase Merethe, even if she's not doing London. It would be in their interest regardless if she's going to London just to show the world that she is with them.

Or am I reading too much into this lacking showcard? I guess we'll probably know tonight, when she's all over Marilyn's twitter. They have been dead afraid to mention her all week .. Not even a word.

Well actually the designers decide which girl they take for their opening and closing but since they very often take the girls who are doing really good the in season I think get "influenced" by the casting directors, model wave etc.
But I don't really know either.

It's most likely a mutual decision.... I think a casting director can make suggestions, but designers have the final word.

seriously? shes beautiful but not fashion. she has never even been on hold for givenchy. the models.com money thing is ridiculous. i think they want to make major happy since they took off sess from top 50 and have no way to support major anymore. she did guess 2 years ago and it wasnt main campaign. her dayrate is no where near carmens or abbys or candices. she doesnt even do VS more than once a year.

I wouldn't call Suzie's sudden success (good for her!) a resurgence as she's never really had a career before. We'd all written her of and now she's there suddenly. Much like Katlin Aas as well this season. Did not see that one coming!
