arizona is too hyped. i don't even want to watch paris now because it is going to be the same thing with arizona horribly opening and closing the big shows. why can't they give the honor to models who can actually walk and sell the clothes on the runway?

Versace cast was a HUGE letdown
Why did she even bother casting Isabeli when the other girls walking for the show are Hailey,Siri and Kinga (just to name a few)??
And Arizona closing is the worst thing I've ever seen for Versace,she just don't get the scene...she's so bland!

Arizona looked slightly out of place (especially considering that she was closing) alongside the classic Versace girls like Abbey and Ginta. Not casting Vlada was odd...

I think Isabeli has the Versace campaign. Well, I hope she does. It better not be Arizona.
Versace was such a laugh. Terrible cast (bar some models i.e Isabeli), terrible clothes, just horrible. Abbey is such a zombie at the moment.

Blumarine cast was brilliant. Candice better book that campaign. She looked incredible.

Does anyone else find it funny that, Aymeline and Juju are most likely to be top newcomers this season, yet they've been around forever. Juju has been modeling since 2006, i have a pic of her back then, she went to all the same castings for years, russell marsh saw her all these years and only started booking now? Same with Aymeline, I know a guy at Women and he told me Aymeline has been on a verge of being dropped a couple of times because she wasnt working, and she's been to castings and has seen the same clients (Alexander Wang for example) many times before yet they didnt like her, but now all of a sudden they love her. Of course, you might argue that the girls have gained experience, but I think Juju and Aymeline had great walks from the beginning and their pictures were fine as well, also their looks didnt change dramatically.
A little curious how this modeling industry works, dont you think?
I'd love to hear your opinions guys.

This is the way this industry is, its all rubbish!! a new faceis never a new face. Jourdan Dunn worked for TWO years before making it big, they made it sound like it happened overnight. it never does. its just more drama and interesting to sell if you say it happened overnight like cinderella!!! kate moss did it for 4 years before making it in the face mag. again you never hear about this!!!

I agree with Tims about new faces. Lara Stone, for instance, worked from the age of fourteen solidly in Paris getting non-jobs before being picked up as a 'new face' and becoming truly successful at a much older age. I suppose a 'new face' is someone who's having their first great season.
However, there are some girls (for instance Dempsey and Josephine) who get lucky on their real first season. Saskia is 28 and will be considered a 'new face' even though I've heard she's been modelling for quite a while.

I don't see why people are getting so anal about Daphne & Hailey being included in the Versace cast, I mean, you could draw comparisons between those two and Tanya who was opening the show four years ago when she was only 15/16, and she seemed to have a lot of support at the time. I think Daphne and Hailey will mature into fine Versace girls and that the main problem with Versace's casting is that a lot of bland filler models are being as opposed to the more mature, alluring girls of the past.

the sexy versace is long gone. now i don't even what to label it. the clothes are not sexy and glamourous as it used to be. model choice is a let down they just pick the wrong model the represent the brand. this season ad campaign is just horrible.
