Model Casting F/W 2023.24 & Cruise 2024

It's been nice to see some old faves turn up this season; I think Isabel Marant has had the best cast for me so far though. Never thought I'd miss seeing Anna S, Trentini and Julia Stegner together on the runway in one show again until flicking through that show. Also wonderful to see Liu Wen back in full force!

I noticed Vuitton have moved their show up to Monday/tomorrow and only an hour and a half before Sacai. I wonder if that will cause a little bit of agro for Karl T and Michelle Lee (or is it Piergiorgio now?) :innocent:

Why is Fran Summers not walking anymore?

Was thinking the same. Also no Selena this season, no Binx, Lexi's career is over apparently too, etc...

Loved Zimmerman and Stella McCartney, very organic and beautiful looking girls.

Would love to see Stam at Miu Miu tomorrow. Would love it even more if she walked the show and booked the campaign. Fingers crossed!

Checked out Sacai, and indeed very interested casting... Not only Marie Piovesan but also Suzie Bird (!!!). The only thing I regret about it is the lack of "personalized" new face(s).

Vuitton awful as usual. What a boring parade of girls. Anyhow, for me so far the best castings all around have been Khaite, Isabel Marant and Victoria Beckham.

Haven't checked the entire Vuitton casting but so far I'm not that impressed (at all) even if I like some of the models for sure.

Also, haven't made up my mind on my favorite casting of the season. Will wait till the very end I guess, haha... But as for now, it's been a better season than the few bits I saw of the previous one. But that's just runway during trouble fashion times... Still keep my hopes for a sunnier future, though!

What a pleasure to see all my lovely girls from early to late 2000s which had "million runway miles" in their feet. You can clearly see a big difference between them and a new generation of topmodels (like Rianne, Vittoria, Mona, Adut and even Imaan).

its time to Ashley Brokaw go away... her formula got so predictable, so lazy... and boring Rafs touch at Prada did not help at all

Changing my mind on Vuitton, even if it has its imperfections, after a second look it was quite a nice casting to be honest. The opener was a brilliant choice and some of the newer models caught my attention too. Didn't agree with everything done there of course but Hanna Felding  for example was one of the nicest surprise (I should definitely look twice before pretending I don't like a casting haha).

I was just thinking how nice it must be to the new girls to share not only the runway but the backstage with such iconic models and learn about professionalism, versatility, longevity and how to be a better model. Hopefully many new girls will take the good examples and have a beautiful career themselves as well and I'm glad to see older generations models still thrive and be references in the industry. This was a very good season casting-wise

This season has been full of wonderful casting surprises! I very much enjoyed the glorious return of Liu Wen, the unexpected return of many other girls such as Julia Stegner, Kasia Struss, now Kim Noorda and many others. The increasing diversity in ages is nice to see overall.

Curious to see Versace in a few days. This season my absolute favorite casting was Isabel Marant, including Angelina Kendall opening (one of the more promising new faces this season) and Loli Bahia (as a sort of girl of the moment) close amongst all the legendary faces from the past 2 decades..

I continue to be impressed with the runway careers of Julia Nobis and Rianne van Rompaey, always at almost all the top shows.
