Also, on a slightly different topic but it still belongs to here: agency show packages... They were all the rage during my fashion/modeling blogging years (with endless blurbs by Wayne Sterling on MDC on how Paul Rowland's packages were the alpha and the omega... he wasn't wrong, to be honest). And now they have almost disappeared from the radars. I took a look on models.com and many of the big-name agencies don't have their package featured there this season and I definitely miss that. I miss the thrill of looking at who they promote, who's new and who you immediately wanted to put on your wishlist for the upcoming castings. Also that was often a good way to "feel" the agency's image or trademark, to discover newcomers you started having high hopes for and so on.

I’m putting all the appearances from former top models down to inflation. I will say, seeing some of these former superstars walking for tawdry, D-list designers is akin to seeing screen legends like Al Pacino or Christopher Walken play a supporting role in an Adam Sandler movie.

I’m pleased Jeanne Cadieu is finding success after modelling for so many years but feel conflicted because I know the renewed interest is entirely down to her relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Personally really enjoyed the lack of nepo models this season, it’s also really given those of the greats a chance to come back for a surprise. Maybe designers are over paying their ridiculous fees

That surely sounds like a star-studded cast and reading Imaan's name gave me immediate goosebumps. Though, I wouldn't call it stunning as it's nothing surprising from Michael Kors (or any designer of his kind who can book big names). I like real surprises more than my all-time favorite faces I guess...

True!! Was hoping to see some surprises, daria s, saskia, suvi hmmm. Pretty sad they didn’t cast Daria tbh since she walked for his show almost every season during her peak 2010 - 2015.

Yes or even some more unexpected choices. To me the real great cast is the one that mixes in a very subtle way some unexpected timeless models with new faces nobody predicted.
