The thing is though that New York has always been somewhat fruitful for the Asian models-and this season was no exception, with Tao, Hyoni, Eugenia, Danni Li, Shu Pei, Emma Pei, Liu, and Rachel all booking a dozen or more shows (and I count Lakshmi since she can be more selective). But will they be able to sustain the momentum into Europe? London could be promising. Tao, Shu Pei, Emma, and Liu will probably have fairly strong seasons, and don't count out Han Jin, because she skipped NY but is fairly strong. Hyoni, it could go any way. Eugenia typically doesn't do as well in Milan but she has her usual shows that she does in Paris. I am hoping that there will be more Asian models (and models of colour in general) in Europe...but I do not know.

Hmm, true NY is more multiculti, but even so, I don't remember having a "rare-er" girl as a top walker before. Hopefully Tao will continue being just as strong.

I'm pretty sure there'll be an Individual Showlist thread for this season in due time, so I don't know if there's any need to post them in this thread for now.

There's also the Who Will Sweep Up thread which may be more appropriate to discuss number of shows individuals have done? (I'm not a mod, so I might be wrong, but just a suggestion!)

I'm very curious about Hannah Holman - it was so strange that she only appeared at Marcs' shows and then Philisophy. I would've expected something different (maybe bigger or more excl) from her tbh. Now, she already appeared at Veryta in London, so it doesn't seem like she has something exclusive up to her sleeve there either.

Yes, I believe he did. Obviously most of the top girls weren't in town, but I think we can expect to see more of Iris van Berne, at least. Like someone said in her thread she looks like a discontent Anna J, which isn't really a good thing in my book, but she looks nice on the runway and of course RM would be all over her.

waffles, what's your source? If Russell did cast Veryta then why is that his current it girls didn't show up? I'm sure he cast Richard Nicoll because most of his NY girls were at the show
