Model Casting S/S 2026

Time to kick this thread off... even if the casts we've seen so far have been nothing out of the ordinary. I am wondering where I can find the Celine opening model, though... used to be with Next Canada but is nowhere to be found on Next's boards anywhere anymore. Been trying to find her on another Canadian board all day :,,,,)

I saw on instagram she is with Next Paris, and her only instagram post is her opening the show.

I don't get some of these exclusives for off season shows. Like are they exclusives for Paris do they can't walk other SS 2026 shows in Paris. Or is this counted as a "menswear" show season exclusive? Though then I see that Anna Kirjuskina "debuted" at Celine when she walked shows before, so I assume words mean nothing anymore I guess. A WWE is so much easier to understand haha.

But the other exclusives are interesting:

Lolo Barth ( niece of Dorothea Barth Jörgensen ) WWE
Victoria Blecher ( Exclusive Debut )
Luna Yohannan ( Goddaughter of Diana Krüger ) WWE
Dahali B ( Closer, WWE )

Well I think Lolo, Victoria and Luna have great looks.
Curious to see what will come for them in January.

@Simera Lolo is related to Dorothea? I must say, the most recent crop of nepomodels has been quite refreshing in comparison to... well..... past years.

Quite a good number of models who debut as "exclusives" nowadays aren't actually [debuting] in the literal sense but rather are re-debuting after taking some time off (for whatever personal reason, usually related to either schooling or mental health purposes) and/or changing their look - or, of course, just being under different management & therefore going under a different marketing approach overall. I presume *most* of the exclusives in this case will still allow them freedom to explore their options as the RTW season approaches. Whether or not it'll land them far remains to be seen.

I bet the opener is still with Next in Canada but has been momentarily taken off their site so they can relaunch her book, too. It's really all strategy at the end of the day... lol

She also was attempting to revitalize her image last season with the same haircut, but ended up falling short and changing agencies in Paris shortly afterward. My educated guess is they were the ones who ultimately decided to push for a whole new reset on her career.

Astrid Østergaard is my pick, even though she already technically made her debut walking for Ganni last season. I think if her measurements are right, she could do very well come Sept.

I see on instagram some Ashely girls ( Taylor D, Libby T ) are already in NYC. I wonder how they will do in the American market vs Europe.

Also excited to see if Rikke Nora will book anything outside of LV this season.

Ralph Lauren's casting, I'd say, was classic Piergiorgio Del Moro. Layla Etengan in that white dress was a vision, I don't understand why that girl isn't as successful. What surprises me most is the absence of the most famous models of the past decades, the most famous models I think were Loli Bahia, Anok Yai and Vlada. However, I think it's something we have to get used to.

Just going to put in a request on behalf of the next month... if we could please kindly upload runway content on all models' threads this season as I am quite busy this upcoming month and unfortunately will not be able to get to very much (if anything at all on most dates). If anyone needs help IDing, the Female Model ID thread is always open, as is my DMs <3 I will try to pitch in as much as I can but will not be able to pull nearly the amount of weight as last season. Apologies in advance & thank you endlessly to those of us who put in as much work as we do to cover the season here on tFS!!

Yes, you're absolutely right, I must have missed it. Ella rarely misses a Ralph Lauren show. Instead, I was slightly disappointed not to have seen Christy Turlington.

Well, it's easier to say who isn't skipping New York. It could be, though, even though tomorrow at Michael Kors, with the official start of fashion week, there might be some other models absent today.

Oh God, please don't give me false expectations hahaha. Vittoria hasn’t done a full New York Fashion Week in about three years, and she hasn’t walked the Michael Kors show in a couple of years. I noticed that specifically for Michael Kors, whenever she walked, she opened the show and then did the campaign, so surely there must have been some agreement made in advance.

She did SS2025. She was in NY, opened and closed so many shows in Milano, and then Paris.

She seems to never do a full FW, but I have more hopes for SS seasons. Though yeah she hasn't done Michael Kors, Tory Burch she has. I just love seeing her on the runway haha. But I shouldn't get my hopes up either!
