Well, she isn't the tallest for sure, but I'm not sure if she's only 5'7.5. At IMG's and Paparazzi's website (her mother agency) she's listed as 5'9" (176cm). I'd say she looks like 5'8.5 (174cmunsure:
She's listed as 177 ... but I agree with you, she looks quite short sometimes. Not "short" like Mona J. but defenitely shorter than many other girls. I'd assume she's about 175 max!
According to Select, Oliver Cheshire is about 5'10" but other sources have said 5'9"; and he's been pretty successful walking for upscale shows like D&G, Dsquared, GAS and he's been in a CK ad. I'm not sure where he as been at the moment, probably finishing up school seeing as he started modeling at around 16 or so. Funny thing is, when he's on the runway, I've noticed that the other male models don't look that much taller than him. Taller, yes; but not towering.?
There's this one guy named Joseph Sayers who's about 5'6" and a working male model, but I wouldn't necessarily label him as a high fashion model. He's more into the nude, and he's too muscular for his small frame.
Other "shorter" models I've seen are Travis Fimmel, Roch Barbot, Luke Worrall and actually, believe or not, I saw a backstage Burberry f/w 2009 shot and Danny Beauchamp looked shorter than the other male models.

So it's not unlikely to see shorter male models nowadays. Heck, maybe with the dwindling economy, designers would make shorter pant inseams and smaller jacket sizes requiring smaller male models, no?
I think height is a factor in determining if one can be a model or not, but not a huge one.
