stammy looks 5'8"-5'9" to me, but i guess that's just the way she's built, but we'll never know for sure unless we measure them in person lol.

I actually do think she's 5'10 but Stam always seems shorter because of her proportions. She has quite a long torso and her legs aren't as long as many of her peers.

Yeah, she told me that too. She's not much taller than other models. She may just have longer legs than torso. There are many possibilities that may trick the eye.
Although, I do understand why she would say she's 5'11" if she's 6'0". Maybe she needs to stick by what the agency says, or she may be insecure about her height (which she shouldn't be!) or maybe she just wants to keep this bit of info to herself, her agency, and clients. Keeps us talking and guessing!

Oh yeah, I've heard that Sohpie Ward is around that. What about that Oulicha (I don't know how to spell her name), but she was mentioned on America's Next Top Model as being very tall.
Isn't Hana Soukupova close to 6'3", I heard she was 6'2".

Oh, here's a good bit of info. Avril Lavigne was signed with Ford a year or so back. I think she did one editorial. This is what she said about modeling High Fashion:

I look through magazines and stare at ads and think, 'I'm not six feet tall, but I know I can do that'.

I want to do those really beautiful ads with the high-end products.

Celebs are really held to a totally different standard then regular model girls... they can sell on their name alone, really. Emma Watson just signed with Storm, Sienna Miller is with Select and Drew Barrymore is over at IMG. She probably will get good campaigns because of who she is, and the fact that she is quite photogenic, albeit tiny.

As for tall girls, as far as I know...

Sophie Dahl is 6'
Nadja A is 6'
Tatjana Patiz is 6'
Hana is 6'
Tiiu is 6'1
Ana Hickman (model with the world's longest legs) is 6'1
Oluchi is 6'2
Sophie Ward is 6'3
Gabrielle Reece is 6'3
L'Wren Scott is 6'4

Finding super tall models is actually just as difficult as finding really short ones!

Caroline's probably ~an inch taller than her recorded 5' 11", but she makes Natasha Poly look shorter than I thought, esp. since they're all wearing heels and they're all slouching, but Natasha is slouching the least dramatically.

Most shorter models do fit, no? Many catalog companies call for 5'7-5'8 fit models whose dress size is between a "standard" model and a "plus".

As for models who are Kate Moss' height, well, let's hope that petite designers get more mainstream media attention...then you'll be able to see 5'4-5'6" models on their runway (note that I said THEIR...meaning runway for petite designers)
